@mrosazza Government is the cause of the affordability problem. Sales tax burden up 14% since 2017.
Property taxes burden up more than double the population and inflation increases since 1997.
I’m posting 3 graphs that show Denver, Phoenix & SLC Metro areas growth in population, property tax revenue and inflation.
Add population & inflation growth & compared to tax rev growth: Denver is by far the worst.
@ericnuttall Iran played their hand for all to see. All countries are now making plans to bypass Strait of Hormuz. Also defend against future drone/missile attacks from Iran. In poker, it’s priceless to get your opponent to reveal their cards.
@GovofCO Polis, please explain to me how much in taxes an EV pays to Colorado for roads & bridges.
Please compare to a Chevy Equinox that travels 10,000 miles per year.
I believe it is $000.00 for EV, $100 for Chevy. But I’m open to being corrected.
Sweden Passes ‘Good Behavior’ Law to Evict Misbehaving Migrants
https://t.co/8vqZXDloKx. Check out “socialist” Sweden. Reality is Sweden , Norway and Finland are very capitalist and nationalist. And. Becoming more so. Their experiment in socialism failed so they are correcting.
@TheRMVoice I graduated from their E-MBA program in 2005. It was a very good education. I’ve done some activities with them over the years but starting in 2019 they started to change (beyond normal higher ed) then by 2021 it was VERY woke. Had Covid vax mandate into 2025. Sad
@ATabarrok Notice that under Trump 1.0 it increased substantially. Then Covid super charged it which always corrects.
It is very good to follow and is a real concerne. Let’s look again in 12 months.
In the past 10 days Colorado has made national news for this case as well as Denver having the most empty downtown of the 50 largest cities in the US. Open borders, encouraging illegal immigration, high taxes, feed & regulations, lax law enforcement. Nice. https://t.co/Icbw5qL9Xt

Imagine: nutrition now being taught in medical schools….
@mrosazza In the past 25 years Colorado population up about 30%. Water storage capacity up about 4%. Our politicians are not serious people. And we elected them which means we are not serious people.
Great post. Data Centers should be treated like any other industrial site. They should be paying for their infrastructure and have to get permitting based on the demand they put on existing infrastructure.
I also wonder if AI is so good, why AI models have not cracked the code of how to cool data centers with zero water usage.
