#TroyNY was once home to an amusement park located on Fifth Avenue between 108th and 110th. Rensselaer Park operated between 1867-1917. The attractions included a 1.5-mile race track with a grandstand where harness, bicycle, and chariot races were held, and pavilions for exhibitions and concerts. There was even a rollercoaster.
