@publishergeek Uh... hang in there, health always comes first. Regarding ffi: I'm currently testing the version from
https://t.co/nLkEQz6es0
I hope it ends up in TL 2026.
Windows: Compared to a while ago, it's now much more similar to Linux (msys2, winget, clang...). At least for me.
New git repo at
https://t.co/6hnfffbnli
Many thanks to Norbert for the luatex svn->git migration; old svn repo are at https://t.co/81KOV655Ee
(thanks to Karl ).
hm. I could be wrong, but in ℂ (x^2+y^2)=(x-iy)(x+iy) where (i^2)=-1. So the solutions are y=ix or y=-ix . Surely x=y=0 is a solution, but also x=1 and y=i1 it is (indeed 1^2+(i1)^2 = 1-1 = 0). Also, (x+yi)^2 = (x^2+2xyi+(yi)^2) =x^2+2xyi-y^2 and not x^2+2xyi+y^2.
We are moving the luatex & metapost svn repository to a new location so no more commits until the migrations are done. I will write the new location once done.
@KhaledGhetas Another tool is qpdf
https://t.co/C0E4cfsxMN
You can save a pdf in qdf format, edit it with a text editor and then made a new pdf . Useful to add / comment / modify some parts, but not ok for very large pdf (well, it depends on your text editor ).
@KhaledGhetas hmoveto / vmoveto ?
https://t.co/ppd0UmhV6Q
hmoveto |- dx1 hmoveto (22) |-
moves the current point dx1 units in the horizontal direction.
See Note 4.
vmoveto |- dy1 vmoveto (4) |-
moves the current point dy1 units in the vertical direction. See
