Plenty of narratives to justify why Bitcoin is dropping right now, but it often drops into June of midterm years.
I know the four year cycle view is mocked frequently, but it has been far more accurate than every other theory put out there.
This work is just an extension of the power law work by @Giovann35084111, the upper and lower tail regression fit I did back in 2020, and the recent work done by @TheRealPlanC on price quantiles. I just simply extend the work to asymmetric tails by letting upper and lower tails have separately estimated curvatures (b_HI vs b_LO) and showing the asymmetry Δb = −0.302 is statistically significant.
Would recommend following both of them
While this is true, no apologies needed from anyone.
Let's just all move forward and be respectful of other views, because the truth is that no one knows for sure what will happen in the markets.
People will be like:
"The four year cycle is dumb, it is based on only 3 data points."
Then in a post later that day they will say:
"The last time BTC did this was in 2013 and afterwards it went up 700%!!!!🚀🚀🚀"
"People that say stuff about other people, they're really trying to process something inside of themselves that's bothering them so some insecurities inside of themselves"

I hope Mike can drop the hate and live by the words he adamantly preaches. I'll extend the olive branch.
