@KeyserSoese @politvidchannel Flat out untrue. I’ve had MRI’s in days or weeks & family in hospital has had them immediately.. within an hour. The Canadian system is NEEDS based and those with higher need get rushed to front of the line. Yes, low priority cases wait longer, most of us get that.

BUT urgent things are handled very quickly, patients pay nothing, and medical bankruptcy doesn’t exist. Objectively, Canada’s system has better health outcomes. Trade offs I’d take any day.

@DefiantLs Comparing apples to apples, Canada’s taxes are lower and our services far better. Remember that our taxes include health care with better overall outcomes and we don’t have copayments, deductibles and medical bankruptcies.. they’re not a thing here.

@AlisonMRobinson @DefiantLs True there. We’d also want the other states to have what we ALREADY have .. “medicare for all” with no copayments or deductibles, better vacation policies, mat leave, extended parental leave and reasonable minimum wages.

@billydumaurier @Pmd722 @BernieSanders Ah, there's the rub .. the U.S. pays MORE for health care than other countries. You could have single payer health care *AND* lower costs. How much would you save if didn't have to pay health insurance? Your health insurance industry would suffer though.

Cable just came back up in our house, but only one or two channels work. Everything else shows "we're having some trouble" and channel is not available.
