Updated: in the course of the rescue operation, eight of the kidnappers were arrested and are now in DSS custody, while some of them were neutralised. There was no quid pro quo in the rescue as one of the terrorists, a kingpin, that the kidnappers demanded his release, is being prosecuted for his atrocities. Why Alex Oniya should tender an apology to the government for dragging them into what was a private venture.

He privately sponsored his kinsmen for a competition abroad without the knowledge or involvement of the government. He did that in an attempt to support his people, but nationalizing a private venture to the extent of putting the blame on the government and Nigerians is uncalled for.

There was never a time Tunde Onakoya drag the government for his private initiative to help Nigerian in the slum through chess game, he did it all alone without pointing fingers. He took five Nigerian children from the slums to Georgia and New York where they won several medals including a Gold medal at the United Nations games chess championships.

Oniya must tender apology for his disrespectful approach.

🇺🇸 FLASH | Les policiers américains ont découvert une véritable maison de l'horreur. Seize enfants âgés de 18 mois à 18 ans ont été découverts ENFERMÉS dans une maison insalubre de l'Ohio.
