@amazonmilkfrog Pretty common in the UK, my small town has a pub from 1200 same building same old timber, there's like 5 more in the same town that are at least 600 years old
@100trillionUSD@MisterStonks All your models broke this cycle bro, this cycle was completely different to normal and most of your models are no longer relevant since.
@Benjaminxx@DailyLoud That was a reasonable response from the man with the dog running at him, the dog will probably be ok, but shouldn't have tried fighting the owner unless there's some past history we are missing
@kevsonthebus113@RoblocPlayuer@idktbh928@QuietBuilderHQ@ona_nky Foreskins have unique pharmaceutical properties making them a valuable commodity worth a considerable amount in finished products and medicines, I'm talking billions, they get "donated" by hospital, where there's a profit to be made you can be sure people are out there making it
@RoblocPlayuer@kevsonthebus113@idktbh928@QuietBuilderHQ@ona_nky Yeah, also the foreskin has fine-touch receptors (Meissner's corpuscles) that enhance sexual pleasure, I also expect circumcision has been historically done to discourage masturbation among other reasons. An unnecessary medical procedure containing risks is contrary to medicine.
@ona_nky@QuietBuilderHQ No we won't we will be like "what was the reason you mutilated my dick" and she will be like "er ummm idk" because Americans cut their foreskins off for literally no reason other than because they are emulating tribes who used it to identify their members.
@TheDrScience@Nostre_damus although I said "better to just rent GPU compute" that was wrong because I think nowadays BTC miners produce the cheapest energy they can so that if they mine Bitcoin at say an average cost of $40000 and the market price is $60000 they are just generating currency for a discount.
@TheDrScience@Nostre_damus Yeah makes sense, I've always thought if I got one I'd try power it with a combo of solar and wind power and yes also use the heat in winter, people say bitcoin mining is bad for the environment but I think economic incentive forces the use of clean energy for years now.
@TheDrScience@Nostre_damus That is true I forgot about that, still I think moral of the story is don't mind bitcoin if you don't have cheap/ surplus energy
@TheDrScience@Nostre_damus Rather than commit to a lost cost fallacy, at the moment no problem as GPU compute has never been in higher demand, you would probably get paid more just lending compute power nowadays than you would mining bitcoin
@TheDrScience@Nostre_damus It's absolutely not, that's plain stupid. Why would you mine it for 75k average cost when you can buy it for 60k??your best option is to market buy it at the discount and wait until difficulty adjusts or the margin returns.
