Tesla should add a Tesla facetime like feature where you can initiate a video call from the cabin camera to any designated driver in the tesla app.
Also allow you to ring other teslas directly, maybe even add a walkie talkie like feature.
Would be awesome to be inside multiple different cybercabs and all of you are interacting with each other on the big 21 inch screen.
What happens when you die:
They divide up your shit.
They summarize your life in 500-1000 words.
People who knew you less say sorry to people who knew you more.
Everyone eats, drives home, and wakes up the next day and goes to work.
Whatever you’re worried about won’t be in those 500 words.
You can dare greatly or not at all, but you’re gonna die either way.
Might as well squeeze every motherfucking drop out.
So, someone knew Cybercab was getting very close to launch. Explains the MM beating the last week. Now, they’ll likely start loading calls and run it. $tsla
🚨BREAKING:
Tesla has been authorized by the State of Texas to operate driverless vehicles commercially under the new law that took effect today, May 28th, 2026. Tesla has officially self-certified the software running on its robotaxis as Level 4. $TSLA
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
A Tesla Cybercab started connecting city to city travel over 60 miles away in Horseshoe Bay, TX simulating pickup/drop-off of a passenger.
Eventually connecting the Texas triangle between Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston, and Austin/San Antonio.
Then connect all around the world!

100k vs $5 million net worth. Am I happier?
I’m sitting here at a resort in Cozumel after a 5k run along the island coast and a 1k swim in crystal clear water on a Tuesday, reflecting on life. Pondering the question: am I happier now with money vs grinding the 9-5?
This is a hard question I battle with almost every day. Am I happy because I say I am, or am I really happy? How do you truly know?
Let me take you back. Early corporate years, typical 9-5 life. I was dating my long-time girlfriend eventually wife) and wanted to marry her. That gave me huge motivation to raise my income and prove I could be a provider. I started at 35k out of college while she was already near 100k in 2012.
Life was very routine. 2-3 weeks vacation a year, holidays with family, weekends together. My typical week looked like this:
Monday: walk the dog, early to the office, 7:30-5 with one hour lunch, evening with gf, another dog walk, cook dinner, watch a show or two. Bed
Tuesday: 4:30am bike ride, 9- 5 life, sometimes evening ride, dinner, bed.
Wednesday: 9-5, highlight was the big group airport bike ride with 100 riders, then Chipotle with the guys.
Thursday: 4am bike ride, 9-5, evening with gf and dog.
Friday: 9-5 then out around town with gf and the Goldendoodle.
Saturday & Sunday: long morning bike rides (3-4 hours) then afternoon with gf.
This was the life for about 7 years. Household income started around 130k and grew 10-15% per year. All basic needs met, comfortable, little left over to save.
I was happy then. Work felt fulfilling. I believed in our product, was advancing my career, learning from failures, and helping grow market share. It didn’t feel like “work.” Life was my job, my soon-to-be wife after 10 years dating, family, and the dog. It felt complete.
Then 2019-2022: net worth went from 200k to multiple millions. Divorced and remarried in 2024.
Am I happier now? I can say I’m happy, just like I did back then.
I no longer have the 9-5. I make my own schedule. That freedom feels great.
But it’s much different now. Everything I do is intentional. No more “if I didn’t have to work” or “if only I had a paid-off house” excuses.
Purpose comes from different places. Today I watched a tiny baby puffer fish swim around a coral head for 10 minutes, then followed a sea snake for another 10.
I don’t get validation from promotions or commissions anymore. I’m much harder on myself. Skipping the gym, not being present with my wife, bad sleep, poor eating, or spending time with people who don’t add value — I hold myself accountable for all of it. I debrief every single day: what worked, what didn’t, and how to make tomorrow better. No excuses.
We travel full-time now. We bought a million-dollar catamaran and plan to sail the world. Dreams I couldn’t even imagine ten years ago.
But am I happier? I don’t know. Sure. Maybe.
Happiness is relative.
What’s new is the fear of losing it all. Under 200k I never worried about money, market crashes, missed opportunities, or losing 500k in a day. I never lost sleep over a million-dollar drawdown. I never worried about my health or regrets the same way.
A pastor once said “God will never give you more than you can handle.” That stuck with me.
Am I happier now? I focus on having my best day every single day. I’m much more intentional than before. I’m the one grading myself now — not a boss, not clients. Me. My bar is higher.
Having tasted this freedom, losing it all would be a brutal gut punch. I know I could rebuild, but I also know the pain it would take. Not knowing that pain was simpler in some ways.
I’ve been successful at many things — elite employee, husband, triathlete, golfer. I know what sacrifice it takes. There’s always a chance you stay mediocre.
I’ve been “successful” in life. But the question remains: am I happier?
Today started as a day that could be perfect. I’ll try to finish it strong and reflect on how to make tomorrow even better.
This is how I live life now. No excuses
Now that the dust has settled and everyone is calm, here are the FACTS after $TSLA Q1 earnings:
1. Energy gross profits are now an INSANE 39.5%.
Although this may be an anomaly, this is a sign that energy gross profit margins can well exceed over 30% going forward. The next quarters are going to be wild!
2. FSD take-rate is now over 14% (and growing).
From 1.1M subs to 1.28 is a 16.5% increase QOQ! The highest ever growth in FSD subs ever in the history of Tesla. And again next quarter. And the quarter after that and so on and on. This is only the beginning.
180,000 NEW FSD subscriptions equals to nearly $18 million/month in NEW revenue. It may not sound much but this adds up to the rest of the 1.1M active FSD subs. The higher this take-rate goes, the more SAAS revenue/profits will lift the bottom and top line of Tesla. This metric is simply more important than if $TSLA "missed" or "beat" earnings. Keep your eye on this very closely. Especially when it's about to enter Europe & China.
3. Cumulative Paid Robotaxi Miles INCREASED 65% from the previous quarter!
As more and more Robotaxi hit the streets, the vertical this will get. As Elon said, Robotaxi revenue won't material this year but it's important to note that this kind of growth gets more and more exponential every quarter and although it may not make any meaningful dent in the top and bottom of $TSLA this year, seeing the growth will inevitable do so eventually. Therefore keeping a close eye on this metric is important. It's better to be ahead of Wall Street.
4. Optimus to begin large-scale production in Q2 2026 (NOW).
$TSLA confirmed that the Fremont factory is ready to begin the production of Optimus in this quarter. This is a big deal as this line can produce up to 1 million units! Of course the only intention of building 1 million units would be to sell them and I believe they will most likely make deals with other manufacturing companies by year end to supply Optimus to their warehouses. Afterall, Tesla did confirm that the Optimus factory in Giga-Texas (that can produce up to 10 million bots) will be ready next summer. You simply don't build out these mass production lines without the intention of selling them. Be ready.
5. Cortex 2 early ramp; to DOUBLE training compute in May/June.
Tesla is about to release the kraken with compute in a month or two. This means things like FSD is about to enter next level in training. If you thought Tesla's FSD is already excellent, just see what happens when Cortex 2 is at capacity. This is important as we will see a massive uptick in improvement of the AI and not just with FSD but with many others of Tesla's AI products like Optimus.
6. Tesla is about to have lower COGS.
In the Q1 earnings report, Tesla's Lithium Refining, Cathode Materials & LFP entered an early ramp phase. These in-house made supplies will drastically reduce COGS on products made on the line therefore increasing margins.
7. $TSLA ended the quarter with a backlog of vehicles orders.
The fact that Tesla has a backlog of vehicle orders not only tells you that demand is high but something else is at play. Some could say it's due to high gas prices and other say it's the convenience of maintenance. Although these two reasons could play a role, something else is at play here. It's FSD. We are seeing customers, once they experience FSD, they don't go back. This is becoming one of the main reasons why Tesla sales are climbing again and will continue to go higher as FSD enters worldwide markets.
Here were the 7 facts that gives me the signals that Tesla in on the right path. The fact that FSD is now growing massively, followed by energy and now Optimus/Cybercab is about to ramp is all the right signals for me to keep DCAing into $TSLA.
Not to mention that Tesla sold the most EV's in it's worst quarter ever! Beating even BYD!
SHEESH!
I’m stunned.
I just spent the last two days in DC meeting with people to discuss AI projects. These people are leaders in finance and security.
Not a single one believed me when I said my @Tesla drives itself.
The common responses were:
1“But you have to hold the steering wheel.”
2“But you can’t use it everywhere.”
3“No one wants to charge for two hours.”
4“It doesn’t really work. Not like a Waymo.”
5“How can Tesla be ahead if they don’t have robotaxis?”
6“The Cybertruck is ugly.”
The funny part?
When I calmly told them they were wrong and explained my actual experience — that I don’t have to touch the wheel, I’ve driven it from Florida to Boston and NYC, we use it every day, charging only takes 15 minutes on road trips, and it actually works better than Waymo in many real-world situations — they hated it.
They doubled down.
So I asked: “Do you have a Tesla?”
Blank stares.
My response: “Maybe don’t question the guy who actually owns and uses the thing we’re talking about — especially when you’ve never tried it.”
Believe it or not, they did a 180.
A few of them immediately softened and said, “I’ve actually been wanting to test it out. My wife keeps talking about it.” 😏
We are so early $TSLA.
Some people just need to stop obsessing over $TSLA (the stock) and go outside and live life
The future is bright, chill bros
When you know what you own and why you own it everything gets much better
Tesla (the company) is dominating
The vision has never been more clear
