@ChefReactions What is up with all these "influencers" refusing to mix their ingredients before putting them in a crock pot? Like how is it possibly better to mix them after you cook the absolute fuck out of them?
@farazamiruddin New York City. All of Manhattan, most of Brooklyn, Southern Bronx, Western Queens you really never need to use a car. Housing is expensive, obviously, but most of us couldn't see ourselves living anywhere else.
@CJSprigman The bigger issue is that most State Senators/Assembly Members from NYC either just want to keep their little fiefdom or be elected to statewide office. There's not a lot of boat-rocking.
@CJSprigman The irony is that the Albany stranglehold over NYC was codified during a constitutional convention by Robert Moses on behalf of Gov. and fmr. NYC Mayor Al Smith who wanted to maintain his power over the city. They didn't foresee the possibility of a governor who wasn't from NYC.
Four hostages are held in a bank in Dallas, TX. Cops successfully rescue the hostages. During the operation, they kill 250 people. Would any of us ONLY blame the robbers for their deaths? And if you argue such an operation wouldn’t happen in the U.S. until civilians are cleared…
@Wertwhile I'm mostly uninformed, but I assume this is because cars aren't tied to locations like houses are, so their supply and demand aren't subject to as many external factors, so more new cars at any price just means more supply of cars overall.
@theunread Maybe they are spending a bunch, but also maybe Twitter has very few advertisers left and they just show those few ads constantly? It's probably some of both.
