Profile Q & A- “Ich bin,” I Am: “For my Sisters, brothers, Cousins, and all Eritreans to Read my Book in our Mother Tongue has an Incredible Feeling,” Bisirat Tesfay
"...The reason I wrote the book was to preserve our parents’ legacy. The book is an autobiography of being born in Eritrea during the war of liberation against Ethiopia’s occupation, as well as the broader history of Eritrea from colonialism to the present day. This autobiography is also about the freedom fighters. Eritrean history is rich with essential stories. We need these stories and this history to understand ourselves, to know who we are and why we’re here, and, in a way, to assert, 'I am'...".

TRAJEDY IN #ETHIOPIA 🇪🇹 – 16 students from Dombidolo University were abducted and subjected to horrific se***** abuse for a year and a half in Oromia, resulting in many becoming mothers. The government attempted to suppress the story, but one brave survivor exposed the truth.
🚢 🇪🇷Eritrea’s Ports Are Open for Business – Is Abiy Serious or Just Distracting? 🤔
Abiy’s obsession with sea access keeps growing, now wrapped in "international business norms" and barter trade fantasies—as if we’re back in ancient times before money existed.
🔹 Reality Check:
The world buys Ethiopian Airlines tickets in dollars, not in “give and take” deals.
Ethiopia already pays billions to Djibouti for port services. Why not negotiate better terms there?
Oh wait—Djibouti even offered Ethiopia an independently managed port, but Abiy never responded.
So, what’s the real agenda? It’s not about ports—it’s about creating a distraction from Ethiopia’s internal chaos, civil wars, and instability in Amhara, Oromia, and beyond.
💬 What’s your take? Is Abiy planning for war, or is this just another excuse to shift blame? Drop your thoughts!
