If the US attacked Pakistan the same way it attacked Iran, Iranians wouldn’t have cared at all. They wouldn’t have burned down schools or stormed US embassies the way Pakistanis did. And the Iranian government would never have taken the peaceful measures that Pakistan’s government did.
For us, our only true and loyal allies are Turkey and Saudi Arabia. I’ll always stand for my country’s interests.
Despite the so-called ceasefire in Gaza, civilians continue to pay a heavy price every day.
People are being killed in their homes, in their communities, and while carrying out ordinary acts of daily life - as Israel increases its control of Gaza.
Living conditions remain intolerable & horrific diseases are spreading - with humanitarian operations heavily impeded.
The prolonged suffering must end.
Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.

Since winning a Cricket World Cup was becoming more & more difficult so Pakistanis rather aimed for the Nobel. Absolute diplomatic conquest. Whether it fails or succeeds in two weeks or before that, we have done our part. Pakistan will be remembered as a State that held onto pragmatism & sense amidst nerve crushing chaos. The World counted on us for a hiatus & we delivered it. At least I’ve never seen such prominence of Pakistan on the foreign front in my entire life. Proud !!
