Napenda kusema, “Sina habari.” Instead of, “I don’t know.” Because, “Sina habari.” Implies that I have a news desk na hiyo habari haijanifikia bado. And that what I am doing is professional and should be taken seriously
We are literally babysitting our President at this point. Every day it’s “don’t sign that deal, don’t take that loan, don’t rig elections, don’t silence critics, don’t burden citizens with more taxes, don’t embarrass the country…” How does a man with dozens of advisors still need constant supervision from the public? We can’t even afford to switch off for a moment as a country.
Hate how as a Kenyan, everyday feels like we are parenting Kipchirchir through his presidency because he's a toddler that wants to mess up everything.
It's all "Wacha!" "Usiguze hio" "Usiuze hio" "Usiibe hio" "Usikule pesa ya education" "Nisikupate na terrorists" for fucks sake!
I'm now convinced if there was an asteroid headed straight towards America, and they requested for it to be directed elsewhere Ruto will suggest Kenya
A head of state who hates his country is a danger to all citizens
We are not victims. We allowed politicians to oppress us. We defended them as they looted our taxes. We allowed them to divide us along tribal lines while they united to exploit us. We are both the problem and the solution. We either fix this country together or keep suffering individually.
Is this the plan?
1. Kill agriculture
2. Kill the informal economy
3. Kill SMEs
4. Defund education and health
5. Kill the people
6. Share land and loot with foreign corporates.
A child was raped & hanged. Using a barbed wire. A child. Your Head of State & his minions are writing paragraphs about a European football club. He has not said a single word on the rising cases in the murder of children & women. A Head of State. Of a crumbling country btw.
