We have become a country of bombastic language which has decided to forget the civil war in Manipur where daily casualties occur but no one counts the bodies. What happens in the fringes of India's Northeast bothers no one, least of all the Prime Minister..
Meitei push for NRC and delimitation as tool to entrenched their dominance, but the Kuki-Zo demand separate administration first. Only then will we conduct NRC on our own, free from Biren’s tainted regime. Supremer Court oversight is crucial for justice.
The non-fulfillment of maternity entitlements under the National Food Security Act, 2013, and PM Matru Vandana Yojana is a serious concern.
Under Dr. Manmohan Singh’s leadership, the NFSA mandated ₹6,000 per child for pregnant women in the informal sector. However, the PMMVY (2017) provides only ₹5,000 for the first child and extends to the second child only if it's a girl.
In 2022-23, 68% of pregnant women received at least one installment, but this dropped to just 12% the following year. Why has the Union Govt let this happen?
The scheme requires ₹12,000 crore annually, but the 2025-26 allocation for Samarthya is only ₹2,521 crore—a clear violation of the law passed by Parliament.
📢 CPP Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji in Rajya Sabha raises this crucial issue.

The KukiZo community in Manipur has been subjected to systemic violence, displacement, and marginalization for decades. Despite being peaceful and law-abiding citizens, we are denied the protection of our rights and security. The recent escalations only deepen our fear and despair. Our demand is clear: a Separate Administration with Union Territory (UT) status. This is not just a political statement but a demand for the protection of our fundamental rights under the Indian Constitution. As guaranteed by the Constitution, we have the right to protest, to self-determine our future, and to live in peace. The Government of India must acknowledge these rights and provide a peaceful, viable solution. We can no longer tolerate the denial of our basic human rights.

Totally Against Free Movement as of Now, This is Just a Facade: Kuki-Zo Spokesperson
"Because for a lasting peace and harmony in the state, the government must seriously look into the actual problem that people are facing," Ginza Vualzong said.

Manipur: The silence from the Govt of India is complicity—demand justice for Kuki-Zo! Biren Singh’s use of state forces to target Kuki-Zo people is a crime against humanity.

The KWOHR, while mourning the tragic passing of Mr Lalgouthang Singsit, a victim of brutal violence by central para-military forces at Keithelmanbi Military Colony (KMC), Kangpokpi, reiterates its stance that political solution precedes peace.
Manipur: Biren Singh's taped admissions are proof of state-sponsored terrorism. How much longer will Biren Singh evade justice for his crimes? #ManipurTapes#BirenExposed
Manipur: A reminder to the so-called Rongmei Nagas who keep shifting between Manipur & Nagaland — you don’t have the exclusive right to impose highway blockades. The longest blockade in Manipur lasted 139 days, called by Nagas, and the Kukis endured it patiently. Stop narcissism.
Regardless of one's perspective, the reality remains that Manipur's former Chief Minister, N. Biren Singh, and his cohorts have effectively created a division between the Meitei and Kuki-Zo communities, emotionally, physically, and geographically. This separation has resulted in a fundamental transformation, rendering it impossible for anyone to reunify Manipur as it once was, even with the use of force. The consequences of this bifurcation will be long-lasting and far-reaching, whether we like it or not. Therefore, the only solution is to create a separate administration for the Kuki-Zo people, ensuring lasting peace and development.

Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCSO)- the organisers of the so called peace rally from Imphal to Senapati, to provoke the Kuki-Zo tribals, should be held responsible for the unfortunate incident in Kangpokpi District today. Also, Security forces under #PresidentsRule are expected to respect the sentiments of tribal people and maintain neutrality at the least, instead of colluding with insterest of only a particular community; scores of Kuki-Zo women are injured and a person killed today due to the indiscriminate firing of SFs. Centre should immediately act on it and resist henceforth the idea of bulldozing peace without justice. And justice for Kuki-Zo tribals is separate administration under the ambit of Indian constitution. @PMOIndia@AmitShah@ncsthq
