Justice for Timothy Kwemoi.
A hardworking boda boda rider. A husband. A father. The sole breadwinner for his young family.
On that dark midnight in Gatua near Kitale Wool Shop, Timothy was simply doing his job — safely dropping a lady customer home. Instead of arriving safely, he was ambushed by thugs. They beat him mercilessly, stole his phone and the little money he had earned that day. The entire attack was captured on CCTV.
He fought for his life… and lost.
His wife is left broken. His children are left without their father. A family that depended on him now faces an empty future.
The lady he was protecting was also injured. And the killers? Still free. Walking among us while clear footage of their faces exists.
How long must a grieving family wait for justice in this country? How many more hardworking Kenyans must die before the system moves with the urgency this cruelty demands?
Timothy Kwemoi deserved better. His family deserves answers. Kenya deserves better.
We will not stay silent.
We demand swift, thorough action.
Arrest the killers. Bring them to justice.

“Afadhali wangeniua mimi” is what the mother of 21 years old Eric Miritini said today at the city mortuary.
The autopsy of Eric, who was shot and killed by police, was scheduled for today but could not proceed as planned.
This is because on preliminary examination of the body, the pathologist could not confirm any bullet exit wounds despite seeing the entry wounds.
He therefore called for an X-ray of the body to be done first to confirm the presence of the bullets and their exact positions in the body.
Meanwhile, the family and @VOCALAfrica_ continue to call for justice for Eric and his family.

Kenyan entertainer DJ Macdee has successfully tracked down and recovered his stolen Ksh 280,000 Pioneer DJM-S11 mixer, only to be hit with a shocking twist involving the police.
The high-end equipment was broken into and stolen from his car on July 7th. After spotting it being advertised online a month later, Macdee partnered with officers from the Mugutha Police Station to launch a sting operation. The trail led them to arrest a suspect, DJ Mkenia, who ultimately escorted the team to a residence in Parklands owned by Shah Ashish. Inside the house, the mixer was recovered alongside a massive stash of other suspected stolen electronic goods, including TVs, speakers, and generators.
However, the breakthrough has been marred by controversy. DJ Macdee discovered that the primary suspect, Shah Ashish, was mysteriously released on cash bail by the Mugutha OCS at midnight without his knowledge. The DJ is now publicly calling on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to ensure transparency and answers as to why a key suspect was released in the dead of night.
ERIC OTIENO KILLED AT MUTHAIGA POLICE STATION 🛑
His name is Eric Otieno, 20 years old.
Eric was arrested on Saturday night, 2nd August 2026 and detained at Muthaiga Police Station on charges of ' PREPARING TO COMMIT A FELONY.'
On Sunday night at around 11pm, his family was called to pick him at the station.
On arrival, they found him already released and wailing in pain.
The family says that Eric kept on saying, " wamenipiga tumbo. Wamenigongagonga kwa cell."
He was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival.
@IPOA_KE , the family of Eric demands justice.
This is another case of Albert Ojwang'.
The charge, ' PREPARING TO COMMIT A FELONY ' is always a fabricated charge.
A street boy from Kisumu was once charged with the same and it took Wakili Bush just ten minutes to free him.
The I.O was unable to explain what kind of a felony he was preparing to commit and no weapon was produced in court.
There's a tendency of police officers arresting innocent people when they are unable to get real culprits.
We demand #JusticeForEricOtieno . #EndPoliceBrutalityKe
