@DavTMar Thanks! It's actually open source at:

The license is cc-by-nc-sa (as required by Global Game Jam rules), so you're free to fiddle with it!

When I was a young non-native English speaker, I learned the word 'explode' way earlier than 'explore'.
For a brief moment in my life, Internet Explorer was the coolest name ever.
@lehtuska@FernandoPs26 I've seen scarcity/time pressure being abused so much as a dark pattern to drive sales that I'd be cautious of using it π
On the other hand if it were my own site, I'd definitely A/B test it (if viable, volumes might be low to get any significant results)
Really interesting new scam. I got invited into "Binance Finland" group on WhatsApp. It looked like a bunch of normal users from Finland, alongside some profiles they claimed are from @binance , offering investment advice.
The normal users were talking about how successful these schemes were to them, how much they had already made money. Sounded pretty excited.
After observing the group for a while: it's all a big scam.
Most of the users in each group are bots run by AI. They talk amongst themselves, as if they're real people.
There's always a few actual invited people in each group, with the hopes that they invest along the bots. I'm guessing none of the "Binance people" are actually from Binance, they're just pretending to be from there.
Pretty incredible setup. Ultimately AI speaks too formally, but I'm sure it's pretty convincing for some. Very elaborate messages as to rewards they have already gained from participating in the schemes.
I asked if they're all bots and got instantly kicked off from the group.
NEW PROJECT: How (not) to get hit by a self-driving car πβ οΈπ₯
A street-based game that challenges visitors to avoid being detected by an AI-powered camera. Can you fool the AI and reach the goal?

this is wild β kNN using a gzip-based distance metric outperforms BERT and other neural methods for OOD sentence classification
intuition: 2 texts similar if cat-ing one to the other barely increases gzip size
no training, no tuning, no params β this is the entire algorithm:
@LinusEkenstam I've been hitting 3 blog posts per week for several weeks now using https://t.co/DioAAa89Aq to format and edit my random evening walk/cleaning/driving babbles to actual blog posts.
