You will be naive to think everyone is genuinely excited that our children had returned. Those digital entertainers who daily camped on social media, setting up ring lights and applying full structural screeding upon their faces to perform a choreographed drama of tears and wailing—how many have posted, celebrating with Nigerians now that the children are home? Their silence is louder than their simulated sorrow.

​Your influencers - the myopic, mediocre personalities you all empowered on this platform - have since attempted to dilute the jubilatory atmosphere with their toxic portion of skepticism and pessimism. They act like the proverbial bird that dances in the mud because it cannot fly in the clear sky.
