Please read all 19 screenshots if you are thinking of working for/supporting Lush. This is how they treat their disabled staff. I encourage anyone who has been through shit with this company to share & speak out (u can do it anon) #LushIsTheBadPlace
This is a thread for people to share their shitty experiences with Lush - ableism, racism, transphobia, sexism etc I wanna hear it! Too many of us have suffered for this just to fizzle out, we want an apology.

Thanks for the new followers but I should say now that if you are against trans people. We don’t need your support. You’re not welcome here. This is a group that shares experiences of prejudice within lush. we do not ever side with people who support transphobia.
(2/2) I know if it is in your heart to care about ableism then this won’t matter to you and I thank you for being an ally to the disabled community. However I do not wish for my experiences to be used as fuel for any transphobic agenda. Thank you!
(1/2) I appreciate everyone who has shared my story and although my experiences of ableism at Lush are a seperate thing entirely, I have noticed a pattern and would like to make it clear that I stand with trans women now and always.
@themdarncats Thank you for sharing and I’m so sorry your eldest daughter had a bad time too - I know a few ex Lush employees from Birmingham who have told me some awful things.
@wildtwo66 Thank you for the advice! Some of the things that happened to me go as far back as 2014 so my worry is that there’s nothing a solicitor could do now.

@The_Grauniad@LushLtd I would love to hear their reply! Especially as they were privately emailed about all of this in 2018 so are already aware of what happened.
Massive apologies to anybody who has tried to DM me with their #LushIsTheBadPlace experinces but haven’t got through - this is my first time using twitter but my DMs are now OFFICIALLY OPEN, thank you again for the support, I am here for u too 🤍
(1/2) Just want to say a huge thank you for the support I have received after sharing my experiences as a disabled person working for @LushLtd - please feel free to use #LushIsTheBadPlace if you want to join me in sharing your own story 🤍
@JayHut_ Thank you so much for sharing! Sadly I agree this is a big problem in retail, but when a company like Lush has the slogan “all are welcome always” it stings a lot to discover disabled people are not included in that “all”.
@SimonReed11 Thank you for sharing! Sadly all of this is true and there are many others with experinces like mine, if you have Instagram be sure to check out Lush Truthbombs - they have a Twitter too @lushtruthbombs
