A platform for employees past and present to share personal experiences of racial prejudice within the Lush company in order to hold the business accountable.
Thanks for the new followers but I should say now that if you are against trans people. We don’t need your support. You’re not welcome here. This is a group that shares experiences of prejudice within lush. we do not ever side with people who support transphobia.
I haven’t posted to this account for a while due to the trauma of going through four months of a investigation and disciplinary and almost getting fired and eventually quitting due to the insane stress and sleepless nights it caused me during a pandemic
Lush is no longer using social media due to mental health reasons but when I launched a campaign to hold them accountable for not supporting BLM & gifting products to police personal tweets from my twitter were sent to head office by my manager & supervisor & I had a disciplinary
I faced being fired during a pandemic with no other source of income and when jobs where scarce. My manager lied about me & my supervisor invaded my privacy. Fuck lush they are fake performative & mess around employees mental & physical health for the sake of sodium bicarb balls
Fuck what this company did to my health and the ableist attitude towards its own staff members
3 years of a court case just to be told there isn’t enough evidence to support me and my 12 witnesses.
So I’ll FINALLY say it with my chest FUCK LUSH COSMETICS 😊
@thecoconutrose Lush also have history of concealing gender pay imbalances, fostering a cult like atmosphere among staff particularly related to its executive (literal) family, abusing its product developers & also supporting police in the BLM protests last summer
(1/2) I appreciate everyone who has shared my story and although my experiences of ableism at Lush are a seperate thing entirely, I have noticed a pattern and would like to make it clear that I stand with trans women now and always.
Please read all 19 screenshots if you are thinking of working for/supporting Lush. This is how they treat their disabled staff. I encourage anyone who has been through shit with this company to share & speak out (u can do it anon) #LushIsTheBadPlace
⚡️ANOTHER way to demand change - @instagram accounts are being used to expose and put pressure on organisations that are failing to address issues of systemic racism 🔥 @ualtruth@lushtruthbombs @the_wing (@flewthecoup)👇
Sent to us regarding a report about racism within Lush. This is the response that they received. Needless to say. Lackluster and empty. #BlackLivesMattter#lush#lushcosmetics#racism
@As1001Folhas @LushLtd@LushKitchen Hi there,
We are dedicated to exposing any/all incidents of racism within LUSH, as a customer or employee.
If you're willing to share your experience in any level of detail, we can use it as an example to hold the company accountable.
To anyone who has worked at lush & experienced racial discrimination, we would love to hear your story. and hold lush accountable. we'll keep you anonymous but want to amplify your voice. we want to hold lush accountable for their actions. #lushcosmetics#lush#lushbathbombs
Removing Lush from your profile should not excuse you from the consequences of making far-right remarks. Islamophobia should not be tolerated in the workplace. Combined with talking down to non white employees should be grounds for dismissal #lushcosmetics#lushcommunity#lush
If u saw this last week - the employees are now trying to apply more pressure as Lush have come out with pretty hollow statements...
