I was not sure what to expect from my meeting with #AstonVilla content creators and fans with stories organized by @trunkbbi and @greeneking and the conversation (soon a @purefootballpod podcast and also in the social media of all that came to the Malt House) went well beyond what I thought. We touched on emotional memories, the recent past, the hopeful present, even ticket prices of course…
This is my first step towards the book I am working on (provisional title, ‘#AwakeningTheGiantBook’) about Aston Villa, Unai Emery, present and future of the club. And I think my new friends might have written the Foreword to the book for me!
It was a please to listen to you, Gemma, Simon, Joe, Baz, JT, Sam, Ben, Adam, Luke.

This is essential reading for all GCSE History students @LuttHigh because the Bayeux Tapestry is our most important contemporary interpretation of the events of 1066. This includes the Battle of Hastings, our Norman historic environment site.
“Most scholars believe the final scene(s) of the tapestry would have depicted the lead up to and the coronation of Duke William as king of England…” https://t.co/1vL6h9CuZy #BayeuxTapestry
Quite a long article, though easy to follow and a must-read for GCSE History students @LuttHigh explaining the consequences of the Treaty of Versailles, including the rise to power of the Nazis. BBC History Magazine https://t.co/QOhAp9xjMi
Congratulations to Tedder for this year’s Abbott Shield win! 2nd-Montgomery, 3rd-Cunningham, 4th-Churchill. Well done to all students for representing their Houses so well all year! @LuttHigh
Sounds appalling. I’m hoping that we’re going to hear a lot more about initiatives like consumers taking their own containers to shops to get refills of suitable foodstuffs like breakfast cereals. I think it’s Waitrose which has been conducting trials of this?
Appalled to notice this ad for #SingleUse@Nestle products on the back of my cereal box. Particularly disgusted with the ‘no washing up!’ ‘Box Bowl’ which being contaminated with food is NOT recyclable. I don’t think anybody ever thought cereal from a bowl was too much hassle!
