The 2025 #Beijing New Year Countdown event took place at the No. 4 Blast Furnace in Shougang Park. With the theme “Charming Beijing, Beaming Prosperity” the event featured a blend of performances, including scene-based dances, Chinese traditional music fused with rock, and a choir of young people from both China and abroad, combining Chinese style with an international flair. This marks the first time Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei have jointly hosted a New Year’s Eve countdown event, with people from all three regions connecting online to welcome the new year together. Diplomats and their families from 22 countries also attended the celebration.
