A £2m project to improve Hull's cycle lanes will start next month. All lanes will be coloured green, junctions/signage will be improved & new lanes will be created. The council also plans to bid in to the Gov's £2bn cycling fund for further improvements.

When the dock opened in 1778 it was the largest dock in the U.K.
It was just called the Dock until 1854 when it was renamed Queen’s Dock in honour of Queen Victoria’s visit to the city. It was filled in in the 1930s #OldHull
