@bazdjcooper I assume that the two windows includes the current one with the other being the January 26 window?
For what itโs worth itโs quite refreshing to see the club trading in a more sustainable and robust manor under the current restrictions. Football is spiralling out of control.
@Victoria_Spratt Viability is challenging in many areas of the north with high build costs and low revenues. That gap will get bigger as wealth inequality continues to grow and much needed higher quality homes are absolutely needed.
Another exceptional rest day show from @itvcycling you really canโt get content like that anywhere else. Hereโs to one last week of free to air outstanding UK coverage @nedboulting @friebos@mrendell ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ป๐ฒ #TourDeFrance2025
@PJBuckingham@TheAthleticFC Great article! The club and its future need to be protected from an owner who lives in a fantasy world. Taking a critical view of any owner is a fans duty to ensure the best interests of a club as whole are met. Wishful thinking to hope that one day a 50+1 rule can exist here!
@robbopalmer@PJBuckingham Absolutely agree, the club and its future needs protecting from an owner who lives in a fantasy world. Taking a critical view of any owner is a fans duty to ensure the best interests of a club as whole are met. Wishful thinking I guess to hope that one day a 50+1 rule can exist!
@mikewhitesport@acunilicali@RadioHumberside@HumbersideSport@looknorthBBC Appoint someone who knows how to run a football club, establish a clear objective with robust strategies to implement it and stop making it up as you go along.
I presume who ever didnโt pay us ยฃ1.5m in fees owed must also be under an embargo or investigation then ๐ค
Still canโt believe that this is the last @itvcycling coverage of @LeTour, absolutely criminal that such a great event is to be taken behind a paywall in the UK. What @nedboulting and the team do to show the race, its history and its beauty makes my summer! #TourDeFrance2025
@Victoria_Spratt Inflation, increase in quality(cost) to rightly meet higher net zero ambitions, bio diversity net gain requirements etc and a move to social rent means this is a significant real terms cut. Grant rates of 40%+ are needed in many areas of the north just to get close to break even.
This piece in The Guardian explains why we need to reclassify investment in housing as infrastructure spend. The housing crisis isn't going to be solved by just doing what we've done for last 30+ years: https://t.co/1Y9NGynOUA
@bazdjcooper@mikewhitesport@HullCity@acunilicali What reaction is he aware of the strength of feeling towards? The constant changes in approach, lack of apparent strategy at the club, sacking managers, high turnover of players or potentially appointing someone with an undesirable track record of views towards others in society?
@robbopalmer@mikewhitesport Acun pressing โstart new gameโ in Football Manager for another season! Absolute mess, no strategy and no stability. Good luck Selles, another manager who go onto thrive I am sure.
@mikewhitesport@bazdjcooper getting fed up with the circus around Hull City that the owner seems intent to continue with. I canโt get to games these days so my opinion is probably void for most but the club needs a proactive plan not this reactive approach. I say keep Selles
Perhaps @BBCPolitics#PoliticsLive need to get @garyseconomics back on the show whilst you debate welfare and a wealth tax rather than the IFS who seem oblivious to inequality in economics.
@The1904Club Selles is a strong leader, the team was organised, motivated and a performance from every player. Pandur came back in and was solid again, great result and confidence to take forward. However the problem remains the turnover of players, the club needs stability and a strategy.
