as a woman, you HAVE to play good music, touch yourself seductively and run your fingers through your own hair. on god. GET FAMILIAR WIT YOURSELF BITCH
People say they want transparency but they’re actually afraid to keep it a buck. Especially if it’s something they don’t want to hear/talk about. Encouraging honesty and hard conversations just sounds good to say. Nb’s actually interested in doing the work
I have a theory.
Some older African women seem harsh or bitter toward younger girls not because the girls are doing anything wrong, but because the girls are refusing to repeat the same sacrifices they were pressured into.
Many of these women stayed in marriages marked by infidelity, emotional neglect, or deep unhappiness because they were taught that endurance was virtue and leaving was failure. They suffered quietly, often without support, choice, or validation.
So when younger women question unhealthy marriage norms, set boundaries, or refuse “manage him” narratives, it can feel threatening. It challenges the idea that suffering was necessary or noble.
What looks like bitterness is often unprocessed pain, redirected at the generation that now has options they never did.
Desire is not meant to be tamed. It’s meant to be guided so that it can guide. When desire is rushed, it becomes compulsive. When it’s listened to, it becomes directional.
idk who needs to hear this but the sooner you realize you’re not addicted to THINGS (food, substances, people) but FEELINGS (euphoria, clarity, motivation, belonging) you can replace your vices with healthy alternatives that achieve the same (if not more prolonged) results.
