Kenyan MPs are considering a Bill that would remove the legal requirement for the IEBC to livestream election results at polling stations.
The Bill seeks to amend the Elections Act, which governs the transmission, counting and declaration of election results.
A powerful political wave is expected to sweep across the country from this weekend, when Rigathi Gachagua’s Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) and Edwin Sifuna’s Linda Mwananchi outfit hold their first joint rally in Nyahururu.

By the time I learned Mudavadi and Weta were less inspiring than a boiled egg and a packet of Mala I had not even met Raila. For them to claim it is Baba who has taught us to disrespect them is utter rubbish. Respect is earned. They haven't earned mine.
Sifuna Achafua Hewa Magharibi
Spika Moses Wetangula na Musalia Mudavadi wameibua kizaazaa baada ya kuondoka punde tu Seneta Edwin Sifuna alipoanza kuzungumza kwenye ibada ya wafu ya aliyekuwa balozi marehemu Burudi Nabwera.

Keep Us In The Dark is what this is.
In Every Way , they will try to hijack the elections
I mean who else fears Transparency unless it is someone trying to hide something.
IEBC aided by the sponsors of this Election Ammendemnet Bill Aaron Cheruiyot, Stewart Madzayo are doing us dirty under the guise of the NADCO Report.
Ati Electoral Reforms….. Reforms to keep us in the dark? Tupige Kura , Tuhesabu Tukiona.....Iko Nini?
For the record, you should know The Senate has passed the bill, and it is now before the National Assembly for consideration and concurrence.
Will our MPS ammend, reject or simply pass this threat to Kenya's Elections transparency and international confidence in Kenya’s elections.
IEBC's excuse and the NADCO Report Ambulance Chasers should not use technical problems and cybersecurity concerns as the excuse to cut us off! They should fix these gaps rather than use them as reasons to abandon live transmission.
