As a Japanese fan of ONE OK ROCK who deeply cares about this community, I would like to share this message with all fans around the world, especially our friends in Indonesia.

We hear your voices, and we deeply understand the immense pain and heartbreak so many of you are feeling regarding the crisis in Gaza.

I want to help clarify Taka’s heart and perspective. As someone born and raised in Japan—the only nation in history to have suffered nuclear attacks—Taka, like many of us Japanese, was brought up with a deep, personal understanding of the horrors of war and the preciousness of human life.

His stance has always been, and will always be, one of absolute peace, opposing all forms of violence, war, and human suffering.

His recent comment was simply a personal gesture of care toward a friend during a difficult moment, made without any political intention.

Taka has already expressed his sincere apologies if his words caused misunderstandings or pain to those who are suffering.

ONE OK ROCK’s music has always been about uniting people through hope, empathy, and love, regardless of borders or backgrounds. Above all else, Taka continues his musical journey believing in everyone’s peace and happiness more than anyone despite suffering from the symptoms of his chronic illness, panic attack . Please never forget that.

As a fellow fan, I kindly ask everyone to stop the spread of hurtful comments and hostility, and instead stand together in holding a sincere wish for peace, safety, and an immediate end to suffering for everyone affected.
