Our own @schadenfreulein sent a message today to many of us who have been organizing our union for years about how today has felt—and what’s now at stake in our first contract. ❤️🔥✊
Trick or treat! My own @cfuuaw starts bargaining tomorrow, and I’m headed to our 1 pm rally at Schwartz Plaza in costume as the scariest thing management can conjure 👻✊
Next week we start bargaining with the @nyuniversity administration for the strong first contract we need and deserve. Join us for a Halloween rally next Thursday at 1 on Schwartz Plaza! RSVP: https://t.co/Znk1BVwkNf
@UAWRegion9A The last few years have seen a wave of new unions on NYU’s campus (@cfuuaw, @nyuresearchers, @swa_nyu) due in no small part to the hard work of dedicated temp staffers @UAWStaffUnited. They’re valued members of my campus community, and I stand with them! (3/3)
UAW temp staff are crucial points of connection for nearly 10,000 NYU workers. They deserve the same protections they’ve helped so many in @UAWRegion9A win — and their working conditions have a direct impact on our organizing conditions. (2/3)
If I didn't have a BC meeting tomorrow, there's only one place I'd be — @UAWStaffUnited's practice picket, Friday 9/13 from 2-3 pm at 25 W 43rd Street. (1/3)
