At last an article on the Guardian I can actually get behind.

While the article does not mention that the QLD Police data behind the QLD LNP opposition’s “adult crime, adult time” does not support an increase in “youth crime” - which has been decreasing in QLD for the past 20 years..

The article does point out the absolute failure that the LNP’s youth crime policy would be on young offenders.

The QLD LNP are lying to us on two counts. They have gone to an election based on these two lies. Three lies if you include their likely secretive stance on abortion.

Lie 1. That there has been an increase in youth crime.
Lie 2. That the LNP solution will help young offenders. It will not. It will place more pressure on the already stretched prison system and it will not rehabilitate young people.

Vote for the LNP and you get the lies you deserve.
