I'm honored to continue in the legacy of ministry at my congregation and I am moved by Rev. Dr. Kevin Turman who recently passed the torch of ministry and leadership to me at Second Baptist Church of Detroit for my pastoral anniversary last November.
Godโs love is everywhere. It extends from the earth to the Heavens. God loves you, even if you don't love yourself. God loves you, even if you havenโt been loved properly by others.
The cure for feeling bummed out: stay grateful, pray without ceasing, and before asking God for anything, begin your prayer by thanking God for everything!
Before anyone can put their faith in Jesus Christโs death on the cross to save them, they must believe and understand that they are sinners in need of salvation. Paul teaches us that the โglory of Godโ is the standard, and only Jesus Christ has ever come close to meeting it.
This is one of the key statements of the entire New Testament. It falls within the most powerful and thorough explanation of salvation by faith alone through the grace of God in the Bible.
