To all the women who have been told that they are:
too loud,
too emotional,
too ambitious,
too difficult,
too bossy,
too much,
We hear you. We believe in you. We stand with you.
Let's fight the stereotypes together #ForAllWomenAndGirls.

War has devastating consequences for women and girls.
Yet, all over the world women are leading movements for #peace and rebuilding communities in the aftermath of conflict.

Today is World Parkinson’s Day.
If we put our minds to it we can accomplish anything when we are on the same side. Let’s lose any stigma, find a cure and never lose hope. Inspired by the words of @realmikefox#WorldParkinsonsDay#Parkinsons
From pushback to rollback, women’s human rights are under attack.
Instead of mainstreaming equal rights, we’re seeing the mainstreaming of misogyny.
Together, let’s stand firm in making rights, equality & empowerment a reality for all women & girls, for everyone, everywhere.
Ireland proudly supports our civil society partners to deliver long-term development and humanitarian programmes which positively impact people’s lives around the world 🌍

What the government can’t afford:
❌Lifting children out of poverty
❌Disability benefits
❌Compensation for WASPI women
❌Winter fuel allowance
What the government can afford: an extra £13.4 billion on the military.
Never any money for the poor. Always enough money for war.
The replies to this tweet, and to others in the last 24 hours, fairly depressing for the depth of misogyny and ignorance.
It appears the vast majority of people attacking Nikita seem to have no clue nor interest in Irish law.
I'll share a few thoughts on all of this. /1

Yesterday an Iranian girl at the university in Tehran was attacked by the ‘morality Police’ for not wearing her hijab properly so she took off her clothes in protest. This artwork says everything about the struggle of women inside Iran and the smallness of the regime that oppresses them.
