@Sluggo013 A lot of people boycott because we don’t want to send our money to the US where they will use it to fund a military invasion against us. If we’re going to be invaded, we better make sure we can survive with what we can make for ourselves. That’s why people started buying local.

@nancy_toroyan @TheBlooch Yes! I’m nervous about crossing the border now, even though I have an American passport. If this is how Canadians are viewed, how do I know they won’t take my passport and turn me away. Told my friends I’d be back to visit after Trump is gone.

@RobCarson THIS is exactly what I suspected the far right Republicans wanted to do from the start. Demonize us, spread lies, put the pressure on until Trump can get his hands on our oil. Next, Canada will cut oil or electricity, the US will call it an attack, they will send in the military.

@TheBandBirdX We were dealing with our own problems until this 51st state thing, and there were many. Then we hear we’re smuggling fentanyl 🤷‍♀️ and continued accusations from there. It impacts us differently bc Trump could send the military in to destroy us and nobody would stop him.

I was happy to see this bc I am a dual citizen 🇨🇦🇺🇸 I have friends and family on both sides of the border and politics doesn’t come between us.

@ericvideos91 American control over Canadian trade deals was a hard pass for all of us. If carney had agreed to that on the behalf of all Canadians, he would be kicked out of office. America didn’t include that in any other trade deals. We trade oil and Trump wants a piece of that.
