Scan the EAN-13 barcode on the box, the black lines with the numbers under them. The QR code on the packaging is the manufacturer's website link. It is not a product code and it will be rejected.

3.⁠ ⁠A barcode from Google is not a barcode from a box.
We can see it. A sample barcode copied from the internet does not match any registered manufacturer range and lands in the rejection pile every time. Because this is a pilot, we are not banning anyone for it yet. But keep doing it and your access to product verification tasks will be cut for good. No warning, no appeal. This program exists to catch fake products. Do not become one. 🚫

One more thing we got asked: where do these TOR come from? Not from the mining pool, and not from the team. Scan & Earn rewards are paid from the Ecosystem & Marketing allocation (400M TOR), the same pool that funds tasks, referral bonuses and the Veridian Systems partnership.
