Freedom of Religion is the most fundament right guaranteed by democratic nations everywhere. As a leading nation which claims to be part of the free workd, Japan is making a serious mistakein dissolving the Unification Church. How is the free world looking at Japan now? It must be concerned. Please reconsider this ruling. Please restore the Unification Church, return its assets & allow its members to legally gather for worship again.

Excellent question. Is the current administration at all concerned with its public image? Can a responsible & well meaning judge leave things as they are or should he recognize the human rights issues at play here? Shouldn't he rescind the order for her return to detention on April 20? Shouldn't she be permitted to remain in the hospital or another care facility at least until the medical professionals find her well enough to endure in detention safely?

Shouldn't the concern of government in this time be to minimize the use of discriminatory rhetoric in favor of a more generous & accurate portrayal of the differences among various peoples within their sovereignty towards creating whole & unified nations. Don't all people want peace & reconciliation? I pray that truth & good will will prevail in Japan. That the dissolution order against the Unification Church will be quickly rescinded & harmony restored.

The Japanese court's response to the rightful charge that dissolving the Unification Church is religious persecution, is to point to the obvious. Of course, the human court of law can't take away the faith of its nation's believers, but that's not the issue, is it?

Religious freedom, for which countless faithful people have suffered & died in every nation around the world, is a fundamental right that any nation claiming to be a free nation, must uphold. It's not about the souls of it's citizens, it's about their rights & about the values that nation wants to uphold.
A truly free nation must stand for the protection of its citizens from religious bigotry & persecution. To be considered a free nation, its citizens must be free to practice their faith in their own churches, temples or mosques, not just in their homes or city parks. And they should be free to collect & use the resources they need to care for their membership.
Dissolution doesn't allow for that. Dissolution does not protect religious freedom!

In a time when religious institutions could have realistically dominated government actions, the US elected to set up the separation of church & state to prevent government overeach concerning religion.

And now, when it's highly unlikely that any church or churches could do anything to affect government activity, it is being used to keep churches from trying. Ironic.

There are multiple significant issues you must address in your conversation with Prime Minister Takaichi during her visit next week. If you can begin that conversation by addressing religious freedom as the key tenent of a democratic nation & come to a solid understanding on this point, the other topics will fall in place easily. If the Prime Minister can undertand the forces at work in dissolving the Unification Church in Japan & find the way to counter their efforts to communize Japan, our alliance with Japan will be fortified & the other discussion points easily resolved. Mr President, please help the Prime Minister gain dominion over Japan's leftists & stand strong as our ally in Asia.

It is up to the US as a nation founded & sustained by our Christian churches, to stand against this terrible attack on God in Japan & elsewhere around the world. I ask that our President & our government speak strongly & take action against the democratic nations that are going this way. Charlie Kirk was right & that's why he was killed.
