@IsabellaSe14339 I agree I feel like the percentage must be more especially with the way TikTok pushes videos talking about or promoting items from the TikTok shop

I’m not surprised people would be willing to delete their social media apps for money cause I would do it too #beachsmc https://t.co/hV2ETFLn6l

The more we learn about the affects that social media has on young kids the more that needs to be actively done to protect them #beachsmc https://t.co/FsYgNLyBjJ

@IsabellaSe14339 I feel like it was high in the beginning because people wanted to see what he was going to do with the app but now they see the changes are not so great they abandoned the app

[lydia tesfaye @lydiattalks]

I personally don’t really like the new X update. With the ability to call people through the app, I feel like less people would want to use it cause random people could call you https://t.co/7DqBzg0R7q

Even though the younger generation, like mine, are dominant on social media it refreshing to see the older generation have fun as well. https://t.co/E3wq4aarXR

Thank you to the @NFL, @SoFiStadium and @NBCUAcademy for the wonderful opportunity to learn more about the professional sports industry!! :)

@TheHowardWah I agree!! Social media is slowly blurring the line of real and fake. It’s scary because many are being misled.

Ads about products on social media always stop me in my track. I always wondered what the product would really look like in person but was too scared to try #beachsmc https://t.co/xn1mc24aB4

Social media being used to scam people is sad and for Americans to lose billions is crazy! Something needs to change to help protect people from getting scammed #beachsmc https://t.co/6cXfAB9p7S

[lydia tesfaye @lydiattalks]

@AngelinaF1014 I agree!! My FYP has been majority ads from the TikTok shop which makes me feel like I’m watching those shopping channels on tv. It’s ruining the users experience overall

[lydia tesfaye @lydiattalks]

Not being told if some things I’m seeing on social media are ads would be annoying and ruin the experience. X doing this may drive users away https://t.co/CBxFd8seSy

Threads, Instagrams version of X, was made to be a much kinder and safer social media that people can voice their opinions on. This is refreshing to see compared to other social media platforms https://t.co/YuOd1UQiFA

The internet and social media is such a vast place with little to no regulations that should not be easily accessible to children. This bill will would make sure parents are involved to make sure their kids are being safe online #BeachSMC https://t.co/x0g0Mchyt0

@agrestaP1 *polluted

[lydia tesfaye @lydiattalks]

@agrestaP1 Social media and influencer culture has somewhat populated destinations places by wanting picture perfect experiences instead of actually experiencing the culture. This has caused once rich cultured cities become the same and hurt the lives of locals.

[lydia tesfaye @lydiattalks]

I’ve scrolled through social media to pass time. I’ve realized it’s become a big problem and seeing that it’s a slippery slope has been a wake up call for me. Seeing the cause and effect of mindless scrolling is frightening.
