America is a constant work in progress. Every generation must take up the unfinished work of the last and carry it further—protecting what’s right, fixing what’s wrong, and making our union a little more perfect. 250 years later, that’s more important than ever.
This clip, from Larry David's new show "Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness" is one of his FUNNIEST ever.
Awesome to have Rob Reiner as George Washington in possibly one of his final on-screen performances.
Cameo by Kimmel is chef's kiss.
RIP, Rob Reiner.
I would encourage everyone to listen to this.
Then, compare it to the absolute bile you’re going to hear from Trump tonight.
Our government doesn’t have to be a walking clown show. Vote accordingly.
🚨 Former Ohio PE teacher sentenced to 8 years in prison after inappropriately touching 88 first-grade girls.
John Austin Hopkins, 25, was found guilty on 34 out of 36 counts of gross sexual imposition. Surveillance video captured him touching first-grade girls in the school gymnasium in front of entire classes between December 2018 and March 2019.
He targeted only the girls and reportedly told one student they would be “married when older.” The victims were as young as 6 years old.
In June 2020, Hopkins was sentenced to 8 years in prison, classified as a Tier II sex offender, and ordered to serve 5 years of post-release control after prison.
How does a teacher abuse 88 first-grade girls before anyone stops him?

Major Jason Watson is NOT a Democrat.
His protest was NOT about party politics.
It was about what he believes his oath requires of him—and the price he’s willing to pay for speaking out.
Everyone has seen the arrest.
Now hear the courageous powerful speech that came first:
🚨BREAKING: Border Patrol agents violently pulled a U.S. citizen PASSENGER from a vehicle, slamming him to the ground…
Then shouted that he had a gun, even though he didn’t.
In Tucson, Arizona, state troopers pulled over a vehicle. While they were stopped on the side of the road, the state trooper called Border Patrol because the PASSENGER appeared to be Hispanic.
When Border Patrol arrived, the situation immediately escalated to agents smashed both passenger-side windows.
One agent tried to hit the phone out of the driver’s hand, who was recording, as they violently ripped the backseat passenger out of the vehicle, and threw him onto the ground, while multiple agents pin him down.
Then, an agent ordered the driver out of the vehicle.
She responded, “I didn’t do anything.”
The agent replied, “Step out or you are going to get tackled.”
At that point, at least three agents already had the passenger pinned, with his hands behind his back, when another agent suddenly yelled, “Gun!”
A fourth agent responded, “He has a gun?”
The driver immediately yells back, “NO! He has NO gun. WE HAVE NO WEAPONS!”
The agent, closest to the car, was startled by this, appearing to forget the driver was still inside… and filming.
That’s when he reached into the vehicle, grabbed her phone, threw it from her hand, and attempted to pull her out of the car.
There is a lot going on in this video, so let’s break this down…
First… you don’t get to detain people based on how they look. The Fourth Amendment requires individualized, reasonable suspicion. Not “he looked Hispanic.”
Second… a passenger, during a traffic stop, is not automatically required to identify themselves, or hand over ID. Law enforcement needs a lawful basis… like reasonable suspicion that that specific person committed a crime… to demand identification.
Third… even when someone is lawfully detained, they are only required to comply with lawful orders tied to THAT detention. A passenger doesn’t lose constitutional protections just because someone else was pulled over, while driving.
Fourth… the First Amendment protects the right to record law enforcement, in public, while they’re doing their job. Knocking a phone away, or throwing it because someone is filming, is violating that constitutional right.
And finally, any use of force… breaking windows, pulling someone out of a car, and restraining them… has to be objectively reasonable under the Fourth Amendment. That requires specific, articulable facts, not assumptions about identity.
This wasn’t a checkpoint.
It wasn’t a border stop.
This was a traffic stop where a PASSENGER became the target because of how he looked.
And if that’s enough to trigger federal agents breaking windows, and violently pulling U.S. citizens out of cars… then every single person should be demanding answers, and accountability.
Because this could’ve ended with another U.S. citizen dead…
And next time, that U.S. citizen could be you.
🚨BREAKING: An ICE agents just tried to claim they were conducting “targeted enforcement”… after pulling over a U.S. citizen, and demanding he prove he was a citizen, in Seattle, Washington.
In the video, the man explains he had just bought the car from a friend. Then he asks the agent:
“Would you mind explaining how this works? Do you just run the plates?”
The ICE agent responds:
“Uh… so we’re doing targeted enforcement.”
The man immediately asks:
“And you saw me come off of Home Depot?”
And the ICE agents went silent.
Because he realized he messed up.
“Targeted enforcement” isn’t a legal justification for pulling over a U.S. citizen.
Federal agents don’t get to stop people on a hunch, demand identification, and hope they find someone they can deport.
They need a lawful basis for the stop.
So, what exactly made this man a “target?”
His truck?
The Home Depot parking lot?
Or was it because he looked Hispanic?
Because if agents are stopping people based on their race, ethnicity, or perceived immigration status, that’s a constitutional violation… not “targeted enforcement.”
The Constitution applies to ICE, too.
And if your entire justification falls apart the second someone asks, “Why did you stop me?”
It becomes pretty clear you never had one to begin with.
🚨Matthew Waterbury, 40, of Louisville, KY was arrested Thursday on horrific child s*xual abuse charges.
He’s facing three charges: first-degree s*xual abuse of a victim under 12, promoting a minor under 16 in a s*xual performance, and possessing material portraying a s*xual performance by a minor under 12.
According to the arrest citation, police got a tip that an email account tied to Waterbury’s name and phone number was accessing child s*x abuse material. When investigators reviewed it, they allegedly found two videos showing Waterbury s*xually abusing a 9-year-old child. They also say they found at least five photos of children under 12 involved in “either a s*x act or lascivious exhibition.”
Waterbury was arraigned Friday. He’s being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $100,000 bond.
Waterbury’s online history paints a clear picture of who he is. His Facebook shows someone posing in a Confederate flag/Ku Klux Klan hat captioned “Legend Lives On,” a “Don’t Tread On Me” cover photo, and a photo of him holding a young boy with a Confederate “The South Will Rise Again” flag. It’s unclear whether or not the child in his photo is a victim.
Waterbury does not appear to be transgender, a drag queen, or undocumented immigrant — making coverage of this case in the right-wing media unlikely.
Instead, he’s the usual suspect.
It's important for us all to acknowledge these white supremacists aren't marching with masks and sunglasses in our Nation's Capital out of personal safety.
They're masked because they're cowards. They lack conviction. They're gutless. They're timid. They're soft.
The corruption is staggering in scale and scope, it doesn’t stop, and Republicans in Congress refuse to do any oversight because, as Mike Johnson admitted this week, they serve as a protection racket to cover up the crimes of the regime.
On America's 250th birthday, one of the images the world saw was a column of masked white nationalists marching through our nation's capital.
Let that sink in.
Patriot Front didn't come to celebrate the Declaration's promise that all are created equal. They came to hijack America's symbols in service of white nationalism.
There is no evidence they coordinated with Trump's official events. But they deliberately chose America's 250th birthday and the nation's capital because they knew the cameras would be there.
America defeated fascism.
We should never become the country that shrugs when it marches down our streets.
BASH: But it peeled off. Why did that happen?
BURGUM: It didn't peel off. There was vandalism. There was box cutters. There have been 7 arrests.
BASH: There are photographs of people cutting a 350 foot gash in the reflecting pool?
BURGUM: Dana, I'm not sure why you and others in the media wanna keep questioning it
BREAKING: HOLY SH*T! A former Justice Department Pardon Attorney BLOWS THE WHISTLE on Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche — reveals that he fired her for refusing to do a mafia-style favor for disgraced actor Mel Gibson.
This is jaw-dropping corruption...
"Liz Oyer, former Pardon Attorney, describes how Todd Blanche fired her when she refused to do a dangerous official favor for Trump friend Mel Gibson," Congressman Jamie Raskin wrote on X.
"The actor lost his federal firearm rights after committing domestic violence," he explained. "Gibson assaulted his girlfriend while she was holding their baby daughter, smashing her in the mouth, breaking her teeth, threatening her with his gun. Gibson asked Trump’s DOJ to reinstate his federal firearm rights despite his criminal conviction."
Gibson was accused of attacking musician Oksana Grigorieva in 2010 while the two were in a romantic relationship. In addition to the horrifying physical abuse that Raskin recounted, leaked phone conversations also revealed that Gibson admitted to slapping her and at one point told her: "If you get raped by a pack of n*****s, it'll be your fault." He repeatedly called her a "whore," "bitch," and "c*nt."
In addition to his horrific treatment of Grigorieva, Gibson launched into an infamous antisemitic rant during a DUI stop in 2006 during which he said "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world" and repeatedly referred to "f*cking Jews."
In other words, he's exactly the kind of monster that Trump gravitates towards, which explains why he has been folded into MAGA's inner circle and appointed "Special Ambassador to Hollywood," a meaningless title that nonetheless shows how deeply embedded he is with this administration.
In his X post, Raskin went into greater detail about Blanche's push to reinstate Gibson's firearm rights—
"Although Blanche had the power to do it on his own, he tried to force Oyer to give her stamp of approval," he stated. "Not convinced of Gibson’s rehabilitation or his lack of dangerousness, and knowing that over half of women murdered in the United States are killed by a current or past intimate partner, and the presence of firearms in an abusive household increases the risk of murder by 500%, Oyer refused to have anything to do with Blanche’s dangerous and unethical suggestion. Blanche sacked her."
The congressman also shared a post from Oyer herself, in which she wrote that Blanche "fired me for doing my job" and "subjected me and my family to months of retaliation."
"My story is one of many reasons the Senate should not confirm Blanche again," Oyer added. She shared a link to the official letter she sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
In it, she revealed that Blanche subjected her and her family to "an extended course of retaliatory conduct, including attempting to prevent me from informing Congress about his actions by directing U.S. Marshals to deliver an intimidating letter to our home and initiating a baseless professional misconduct complaint against me with the bar where I am licensed."
Damningly, Blanche fired Oyer just two hours after she informed him that she "would not rubberstamp a political favor for a celebrity friend" of Trump. The administration wanted her to pen a memo recommending that Gibson regain legal access to guns, which he lost when he was convicted of domestic violence.
The actor's attorney had sent a letter to the Justice Department requesting the favor, which absurdly "cited Mr. Gibson’s personal relationship with Mr. Trump and his catalogue of famous films." The suggestion that appearing in movies somehow entitles him to special treatment is galling, but it shows that he understands Trump' warped, fame-obsessed psyche.
Oyer explined that "longstanding DOJ policy" requires the Office of the Pardon Attorney to conduct "careful vetting" and risk assessment and for the FBI to do a background investigation. Blanche wanted her to ignore the usual procedures entirely.
"Rearming a domestic abuser without careful vetting was not consistent with the Department’s policies or its duty to protect public safety," wrote Oyer.
"My recommendation was not actually needed to grant Mr. Gibson’s request. The legal authority to restore firearm rights rests with the Attorney General. As a career official, I understood that my recommendation would lend a veneer of legitimacy to what could otherwise look like a political favor," she explained.
Oyer took a brave stand and was punished for it. She is currently involved in litigation against the Department over her illegal firing, because it blatantly violated federal service and whistleblower protection laws.
Crucially, Oyer's letter also stated what we have all come to realize: the presidential pardon system has become completely corrupted under Trump.
"A pay-to-play pardon system has developed that has advantaged the wealthy and well-connected," she alleged.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Liz Oyer for speaking out!
Police violently arrest Black pregnant woman—threaten to shoot her with taser.
"That's my little sister," her brother yells.
"She's pregnant!"
"You're doing this because of that mother-f'er in the White House!"
Pregnant should always be handcuffed in front—never behind back like law enforcement did here.
Being shot with a Taser can endanger both her and the fetus—the electrical shock and sudden muscle contraction can trigger serious injury or pregnancy complications.
Incident occurred in Cleveland, Ohio.
King Jr doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length and credited video here to help raise awareness.
It's weird to me how trump never lets go of a grudge, he still bitches about Obama, Biden, Hillary, and even Rosie O'Donnell for some reason.
He never says a word about any of the people who supposedly tried to assassinate him.
Nothing. Weird.
BREAKING: Both Governors JB Pritzker and Katie Hobbs are removing any tax incentives in existence for data centers from their states. Data centers will have to pay their fair share in Illinois and Arizona. Let’s go.
And there it is: With just hours remaining until deadline to release more Epstein Files under lawsuit filed by @KatiePhang — Justice Dept asks judge for two-month delay, claiming it risks revealing victims’ identities..
… (which the Trump Admin has already done)
A citizen had her phone ripped from her hand by an out of control ICE agent. https://t.co/du9bv2U4pY confirms that she had a First Amendment right to film ICE in public.
If an agent grabs your phone, do not resist. Say: “I do not consent to seizure, search, or deletion.”
Snatching, searching, or deleting footage can trigger lawsuits, and potentially criminal liability for the ICE agent. PAXIS can walk you through the complaint process.
Get PAXIS into the hands of all immigrants and allies: https://t.co/Txyhf9LSil
Jack Smith had a SOLID case against trump, including witnesses who were trump's supporters, high ranking officials who campaigned and voted for him.
Hard to believe that fucker got away with January 6th, and pardoned 1,500 cop-beating thugs.
Disgusting.
