Meet Monty, who came to us after sadly being abandoned 💔💔💔
Monty is a sweet little dog with a friendly personality. He enjoys being outdoors and would benefit from a secure garden where he can explore and enjoy some safe off-lead time.
As a terrier, Monty would be best suited to an experienced home familiar with terrier breeds and their independent character.
We believe he will make an excellent companion for the right person.
If you would like to adopt Monty, please fill out a rehoming questionnaire and a member of the team will get in contact within 48 hours. For questions or queries, please contact the office directly: 020 8341 3196 / [email protected]

WE ARE STILL HERE... BUT ONLY JUST.
This post isn’t easy to write. But we need to be real with you all.
Right now, our small charity is under immense pressure. Every day, our phones don’t stop ringing ,emergency services, domestic violence teams, police, and individuals in desperate need are reaching out to us for help.
Not because they want to, but because we’ve become their only hope.
This past week, we’ve dealt with one of the most extreme safeguarding cases we’ve ever seen. A dog, trapped in the middle of an unthinkable situation ,we got them out and safe. But the reality is... that was just one of many.
Dogs are coming into our care DAILY. We’re being contacted from all over the UK. Yet, we receive NO FUNDING from the services relying on us.
We’ve had to urgently bring on new team members at the sanctuary just to keep up and more dogs are on their way.
Every life we take in costs the charity, and our vet bills are growing by the day. It’s terrifying.
We know we’ve been quiet on socials, but that’s not because we don’t care. It’s because we are drowning in cases and trying to keep up.
We're helping a client with severe trauma through rehabilitation ,she’s doing amazing, but therapy costs money.
We’re attending endless meetings with her with housing, medical, welfare. We’re trying to plan fundraising ,but we barely have time to breathe.
We are a small charity with big hearts, and we stand for the dogs who can’t speak up for themselves.
We don’t walk away from the hard cases we walk into them.
This is where we need YOU.
Whether it’s £1, £5, £10, or £100, every single donation makes a difference.
We’re fighting for these dogs, and we’re fighting for the people who love them but are trapped in situations they never chose.
Please, if you can help, donate, share, or even just comment to boost this post. We need all the love and strength right now.
Thank you to everyone who continues to stand with us ,we see you, and we are so, so grateful.
When we go quiet, it’s not silence — it’s survival. 🧡

🐾 Meet Sam – A Life Worth Fighting For 🐾
Today, we welcomed a very special soul into our care. This is Sam, an elderly gentleman who has spent most of his life by the side of his homeless owner , a bond forged through love, loyalty, and sheer survival.
Unfortunately, due to deeply difficult circumstances, Sam’s owner is no longer able to care for him. In the midst of their own struggle, they made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to seek help for Sam ,putting his needs before their own.
Sam has cancer in his foot , something that desperately requires veterinary attention. A well-known veterinary charityassessed him ( colour blue ) and recommended that he be destroyed.
That was their “easy option.” But not ours.
We don’t give up on life just because it’s old, sick, or a little more complicated. Life , especially one that has been so loyal and trusting , deserves better than that.
So, today, thanks to an incredible homeless outreach service who refused to accept that outcome and reached out to us, Sam is safe.
We’re now working closely with vets to assess whether Sam’s foot can be saved. And if not, and amputation is the only option, we will ensure it’s done with compassion, care, and the chance of a pain-free, loved life moving forward.
Our long-term hope? To find a compassionate foster home for Sam , somewhere he can live out his golden months or years in peace, dignity, and comfort. He may be old. He may be unwell. But Sam is not disposable.
Every life matters. And today, we made sure one more life was spared. Thank you to the team who made that possible , and to all of you who continue to support our mission to offer more than a “quick solution.”
Please keep Sam in your thoughts, and if you’d be interested in becoming a foster carer for an elderly soul like him, get in touch. Your kindness could be the very thing that gives him the peaceful retirement he deserves. 🧡

Would you believe us if we said 10 dogs are coming into our care in the next few days….. Because… that’s the reality.
We’re overwhelmed, underfunded, and running on love and fumes but we’re still showing up. Because saying nocould mean the unimaginable for the dog… and their owner.
Today, we welcomed Miss A, pictured below…. Her owner is critically unwell in hospital. Miss A was left in the care of someone else who is themselves vulnerable and things quickly became unsafe.
A service reached out to us, concerned. Our answer was simple: "Bring her to us."
She is now safe and settling in. Tomorrow, another dog arrives so their owner can receive vital hospital treatment.
On Saturday, we’re taking in 6 more dogs in a case we’ll be sharing with you soon , one that is deeply upsetting and speaks volumes about the crisis so many of our clients face.
Early next week, More dogs. More pressure. More heartbreak. More hope.
We are a lifeline for dogs and their humans , especially those in the most vulnerable communities.
They will always put their dogs first. And we will always do everything we can to be there.
But here's the truth: 💔 We are in a desperate financial situation. 💸 Every dog costs money. 🛑 If things continue like this, our current funding won’t last past the end of the year.
So we’re asking as humbly and openly as we can: If you can donate £1, £2, £10, £100 — anything , please do. Forget that takeaway coffee today. Make it at home and send the savings our way.
It truly could mean the difference between us saying "yes" or having to say "we can't"... and that is not a reality we want to face.
We're a small charity, not often recognised but we have big hearts, unshakable passion, and a team that works 24/7 to keep tails wagging and families together.
📢 Please share. Please donate. Please care.
Together, we can keep going. But we need your help …..today.

💔 We’ve lost 6 monthly supporters this month — that’s £46 gone from our regular donations.
For a small frontline charity like ours, that’s a big hit.
We understand people’s situations change, times are tough, and some may choose to support other causes (which we fully respect).
But the truth is , we’re still here, still operating, and still supporting dogs and their owners who are living in extreme vulnerability and hardship. Whether on the streets or in crisis, our work never stops.
We don’t have big corporate sponsors or government funding ,we rely entirely on public support. And even £1 a month makes a real difference to the lives we touch every single day.
If you can spare the cost of a coffee each month, you can help us continue providing: 🐾 Vital outreach 🩺 Medical support 🦴 Food & essentials 🧡And most of all, hope….
You can set up a monthly donation via our website or PayPal here. 👉🏼

⚠️ AMBER WEATHER ALERT ACTIVATED- EXTREME HEAT WARNING ⚠️
Please read. Please share.
With temperatures soaring, we’re urging everyone to look out for those most vulnerable especially people experiencing homelessness, with or without dogs.
💧 Water is vital. Not coffee. Not tea. Just water.
Very sadly, a high percentage of our street homeless community live with addiction which can cause deep sleep, confusion, or disorientation, especially in direct sun. No sun cream. No hats. No shelter.
If you see someone vulnerable and asleep in the heat:
➡️ Approach gently and with care. ➡️ Ask if they’re okay. ➡️ If they show signs of heatstroke or collapse please call 999 immediately.
🐶 If you see a dog panting excessively, struggling to move, or lying in the heat — offer water right away.
Dogs on the Streets will be out across the weekend, distributing essentials donated through our Amazon Wish List — water, cooling mats, sun wipes, electrolytes, and more. We’ll also be supplying partner teams in Westminster doing outreach.
📍If you spot someone rough sleeping with a dog in Westminster and want to help, please email us their location —we’ll respond directly with support.
This heat can be just as deadly as the winter cold.
Let’s come together to protect those who are invisible to so many — but never to us. 🧡
