What a wonderful thing these women did. I can assure you that had they been men EVERYONE would've heard of them and likely their names would've been taught in public schools.
Oh what a difference a penis makes.
The guy who delivers our groceries has started leaving little notes on the bags, except they're all very ominous and poetic? Like the first one said "The apples were soft. I chose differently for you. Trust is circular." And I was like okay, weird, but he did get better apples than I would've picked so maybe he's just really into fruit.
But then it kept happening. "Three avocados. Past, present, future. One will betray you." Or "The milk expires Friday but don't we all." One time he left a note that just said "They didn't have your brand of salsa. I have made a choice you will understand only in time."
My husband thinks it's hilarious and has started leaving notes back. Like "Thank you for the bananas. Your wisdom travels with us." They've never met, just this ongoing weird note exchange on our doorstep.
Last week the delivery guy left a bag with a note that said "I have been transferred to a new zone. Another will come. Speak not of me." And I was like oh no this is kind of sad actually? I didn't realize I cared but I did?
The new delivery person showed up yesterday. Very normal, very efficient, no notes. Just groceries. It felt empty.
But then I unpacked everything and at the bottom of the last bag there was a single note that said "Greg briefed me on your journey. The eggs are fragile. As are we all."
My husband wants to invite them to Thanksgiving.
“We are not ready to surrender our freedom to that fucking terrorist, Putin.”
That’s the part every “peace plan” needs to understand: Ukraine isn’t fighting over a business deal. It’s fighting for the right to remain free.
🚨 BREAKING:
Lutnick: "It's disgraceful that Canada refuses to put American spirits on its shelves. It's insulting and disrespectful to America."
Shaheen: "They won't do it because of the insults from this president and comments like yours."
In the late 1970s, Phil Collins was going through a personal hell.
His first wife, Andrea Bertorelli, left him and took their children with her, leaving him completely devastated. At the time, he was the drummer and lead singer of Genesis, but his pain drove him to write his own songs, almost like desperate messages addressed to her, in the hope of winning her back.
Collins took one of those songs, “In the Air Tonight,” to his Genesis bandmates, but they rejected it, deeming it too simple. Determined not to let it go to waste, he recorded it himself using a newly purchased Roland drum machine, unaware that that raw sound would become his signature.
In 1981, he released “Face Value,” his debut solo album, with that very song as the lead single. The album was an instant hit, reaching number one in the United Kingdom, and transformed Collins from a progressive rock drummer into one of the most recognizable voices in 1980s pop rock.
Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone who wants to know WHERE THE HELL IS MARCO RUBIO, the Secretary of State, and why are Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner meeting with Putin instead of him?
None of this shit is normal.
Republicans are charging 20,000 dollars a ticket for a Billionaire Ball in Dallas next week. Talarico is running a free food drive the same four days. One campaign understands what affordability means to actual Texans.
Trump can't bring peace to Ukraine.
Trump can't end the Iran war.
So for the next 60 days he will just unleash pure chaos.
That's his playbook.
He's got nothing else and never has.
Buckle up for insanity and prepare for unprecedented interference on election day.

Klobuchar: "What's the difference between Greenland and Trump? Greenland isn't for sale."
*Boos*
Klobuchar: "Okay. To Republicans in the Trump administration who want to throw eggs at me over that joke, you can't—they're too expensive."
