I am so sick and tired of Republicans constantly calling themselves pro-life when they are anything but.

Starving children don’t have to sit through a school day with empty bellies you could have filled if you are pro-life. Miscarrying women don’t have to contend with sepsis before you’ll give them medical care if you are pro-life. A 28 year old mother doesn’t die because you made the laws so confusing doctors were afraid to help her if you are pro-life. You don’t ban the medication someone who is transgender needs simply to exist thus pushing them to the point of suicide if you are pro-life. You don’t make the penalties harsher for a doctor who performs an abortion on a 10 year old survivor of rape, than they are for the rapist himself if you are pro-life. You don’t make it easier for a child to get their hands on an assault rifle than a book with two mommies if you are pro-life. You don’t turn dry erase boards into ballistic shields because you’ve accepted school shootings as something we have “get over” if you are pro-life.
You don’t perpetuate baseless fear mongering propaganda targeting innocent human beings on the basis of their ethnicity if you are pro-life.
You don’t force whole communities to have to live in perpetual fear because of the violence your intolerance stokes and promotes if you are pro-life.

You don’t do any of those things if you are truly pro-life.

But that’s just it…
Republicans are not pro-life.
They are pro-squelch self expression.
They are pro-snuff out singularity.
They are pro-stigmatize, pro-sanctioned hate, pro-proselytize, and pro-subjugation of women.
They are pro-THEY decide what life is and what life is not.

But they sure as shit are not pro-life.
