I don't think it can be said enough. Marcus Freeman is bringing Notre Dame back the program people once feared.
Marcus Freeman played the portal perfectly 23/24.
Two straight years, he bought a quarterback — not as a shortcut, but as a spark. The first one stabilized the program. The second one took Notre Dame to a National Championship.
It was intentional: buy now, build later.
Make the place cool. Make it competitive. Then let the recruits POUR in.
A temporary tactic with permanent consequences.
The perfect strategy.
To think he's doing all this with one of only two Independent programs should tell you how ELITE he is.
He's convincing players to choose Independence. He's finding the perfect people for this place because he's perfect for this place ☘️🔔
Now it's time to finish the job.
I believe in the power of prayer. Please join me in praying for Maddox. Dear Jesus, please heal him and help his family get through this difficult time 🙏✝️🙏
Last night Maddox Graser had two hits and helped his Wooster High School baseball team win 10 to 0.
He was perfectly fine.
By 8 pm he was throwing up at home. It got worse fast. He was rushed to the hospital in Wooster and then life flighted to the Pediatric ICU at Akron Children’s Hospital this morning.
Maddox is a sophomore. A second baseman. A teammate. A son.
Right now he has no brain activity.
From a baseball field celebrating a win to a pediatric ICU fighting for his life in less than twelve hours. His family never saw this coming. Nobody did.
His mom and dad are sitting in that hospital right now needing every prayer they can get.
If you believe in miracles please stop scrolling right now and say one for Maddox. His family is pleading for them.
Please share this post. The wider this reaches the more people are praying over this young man tonight.
Maddox Graser. Remember that name and lift it up.
Luck of the Irish ☘️
Notre Dame had Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price become the first two RBs taken in Round 1, the first time since the Common Draft Era both came from the same school.
It was important that Lou Holtz and Marcus Freeman got this moment ☘️
Lou started spilling his keys to succes.
Marcus: I'm going to write this down ✍️
1. You have to be the most physical on the field.
2. We have to be the most fundamental.
3. Your players must care about one another.
4. Don't flinch.
To see the past and the future of this program in one video is ✨️
I’ve been quiet about Lou Holtz, not out of indifference but because this one carries weight.
Hospice means more than loss — it means the last living Notre Dame national championship coach, and an era, nearing its end.
That’s history, grief, and gratitude all at once. ☘️
Just heard from @CoachSHoltz after texting with him and will certainly respect his families privacy, but his message was encouraging. They’re well aware of all the 🙏🙏🙏his Dad is receiving around the country and world. He did add, “He’s still fighting the fight.” I’d expect nothing less from Lou. Quick story on Coach. Lou loved being the @NDFootball Coach in ways no other could. Our Friday Night “All About Us Dinners”we called them @CBSSports, were epic and Lou an incredibly gifted Speaker was like our Weekly Keynoter! @CraigJames32 was always with us, and he’ll remember too. We did a lot together even called an @NFLonCBS games a couple of times. Towards the end of these Friday dinners he’d grab up salt & pepper shakers and left over wine glasses and diagram plays on the tables. Pretty soon people from other tables would come over and watch.👀 I’d laugh and say who needs to watch @survicbs? Friday Nights with Coach Lou in Manhattan? Much better!
I asked Marcus Freeman what he’s thankful for this week.
-The chance to beat Stanford and retain the Legends Trophy
-Being Notre Dame’s head coach
“This university, what it stands for and the people it impacts, I’m grateful for it.”
Sounds like someone who loves where he’s at.
On this Thanksgiving, we pause not just to count blessings, but to honor the ones who shape them.
For Notre Dame, one of those blessings is Marcus Freeman ☘️
This season, every practice, every game, every moment has carried the weight of your belief in what Notre Dame can be. And that belief has become contagious. It has spread through the locker room, through the stands, and through the hearts of fans who see in you not just a coach, but a builder of legacy.
So today, we say thank you, Marcus Freeman. Thank you for your courage, your conviction, and your commitment to the Irish. Thank you for reminding us that gratitude is not just a holiday tradition, but a way of life.
This Thanksgiving, we are grateful for you 🙏

I've been Catholic all my life.
I remember learning about how the Pope is chosen—white smoke, black smoke, the whole thing.
You don't have to agree with everything he says, but we're called to pray for him, respect him & support him.
Pope Leo, I'll be praying for you. God bless.
