I finally made time to replace old photo frames&photos that I kept from my grandma’s room, when she passed away. I got new frames to match my home aesthetics& this was found hidden, in the old frame, behind a photo of my grandma & mom🥺 look at my mama! A gem!💎
Every artist you named was born and raised in the US, identify and marketed as american artists, sing in english and has never released music in asian language. there's a big difference between being asian and being an american with asian ancestry.
BTS pulls out of #Grammys consideration and will not submit for the awards.
“We have decided not to submit for Grammy consideration this year. We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language. We thank Army and everyone who has always stood by us,” reads a statement from all members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

When that category was announced, they were saying that Hybe paid this to help BTS win a Grammy. But now they're coming up with other excuses because it doesn't fit their narrative anymore.😭😭
After years of Recording Academy snubs and the introduction of the Asian-focused category, BTS are boycotting the Grammys by not submitting their music for consideration:
“We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language. We thank Army and everyone who has always stood by us.”
BTS members on their decision not to submit their work for this year's Grammy Awards:
"We have decided not to submit for the grammys this year. We hope that music can be heard and appreciated for what it is, rather than being defined by region or language. Thank you to Army and to everyone who has always supported us."
BTS will not be submitting their music for Grammy consideration following the introduction of the Asian-focused category, ‘Best Asian Pop Music Performance’:
“We hope our music can be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”
Despite being among the strongest contenders for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, the newly introduced Asian-focused category, and multiple other awards, BTS have still decided not to submit their work for Grammy consideration this year.
and last thing im gonna say is, ARMYs are the only fandom who immediately recognized that new asian category for what it is: blatant racism, while others were celebrating a potential win for their faves. the fact that BTS, an asian group, thinks the same as us says a lot. 🙏🏽
All 7 members chose chaos this morning and they picked the exact timezone for the US to wake up and see it lol
& not a lick of English in their statements!
I will be blasting Aliens today 🫶🏼

“We decided not to submit for the Grammys this year.
We hope our music can be heard and loved simply as music, rather than being defined by region or language.
Thank you to ARMY and to everyone who is always with us.”
Critic Lim praises BTS' decision to skip this year's GRAMMY submissions:
— “The fact that a single Asian artist has rebelled against a massive awards ceremony and opened a forum for public discourse demanding change demonstrates immense influence in itself.”
BTS are—and will remain—the only ones with the courage to make such a decision. After years of the Grammys benefiting from their global impact, responding by creating a separate category only highlights the treatment they have received. Their decision not to submit what many consider their best album speaks to principles, dignity, and a refusal to settle for half-hearted recognition.
