I’m a Republican. I’ve supported strong borders. I’ve backed law and order. But what’s happening right now isn’t about either of those things - it’s about control. ICE is arresting 3,000 people a day. Troops are being sent into cities without governor approval. Guantanamo Bay is back in use - for migrants. Legal residents, students, tourists - people with no criminal records - are being swept up just to hit a number.

This isn’t about keeping anyone safe. It’s about showing force. It’s about fear. And now they’re trying to make it permanent through the Big Beautiful Bill (BBB) - a massive piece of legislation packed with buried provisions most people haven’t even seen.

➡️ $10 billion for detention centers - Justifies Guantanamo, base expansions, and military-run sites.
➡️ 30,000 new ICE officers - To scale up mass arrests and pressure field agents.
➡️ Stripping funding from sanctuary cities – Forces local police to act like ICE.
➡️ Legal protection for ICE raids in schools, churches, and hospitals - Yes, they’re back. This would make them lawsuit-proof.
➡️ Federal military support for ICE operations - Already happening in L.A. They want it written into law.
➡️ A 10-year ban on state-level AI regulation - Bans states from creating rules to protect privacy, civil rights, or fight AI-based discrimination. Total federal override.

And here’s the thing: this bill hasn’t passed the Senate yet. But the administration is already doing most of this through executive action. They’re just hoping the bill slips through while people aren’t looking.

If this passes?
• ICE turns into a national police force
• Due process gets bypassed
• Protests are treated like threats
• States lose the ability to protect their own people
• Surveillance expands and dissent gets quieter

This isn’t conservative. And it sure isn’t freedom. Don’t let them use fear to justify this.

It doesn’t matter if you’re Republican, Democrat, independent, or none of the above. If you care about your rights - about limits on power - now’s the time to act.

📞 Call your senators. Demand a NO vote on the Big Beautiful Bill.
🛑 Stop this before it becomes permanent law.
🧠 Support legal defense. Help those getting targeted.
📢 Speak up - even when it’s uncomfortable. Especially then.

Because this isn’t just about immigrants. It’s about how far a government can go when people stop paying attention.
