@sashaperigo So there are billionaires who become billionaires through just means? Being a billionaire, and supporting them, is class consciousness how? Now you are just arguing "my billionaires are better than your billionaires." void of any principles of class consciousness.
I want all Democrats to win, everywhere. I also want people to remember what happened to the last "working class savior" they elected to the Senate from the east coast, in John Fetterman. The preceding optics are identical. So cause for concern seems appropriate.
@_sn_n Then Democrats come and save them. And then they get comfortable enough to be racist again. Tank the economy for it. Dems save them. Democrats provide the comfort that allows them to be racist. Jobs, retirement, healthcare, clean drinking water, etc. Then they get racist again.
I know it’s become pretty cliche and cringey to talk about at this point but if you’re under like 25 I cannot stress enough how one time Obama wore a tan suit and people spent a week arguing over whether or not it was demeaning to the Oval Office and they were serious about it.
@spicy1812 Leftists are pro-billionaires now? Why support the Hispanic man who grew up in a 1 bedroom apartment, came from struggle, when you can support the lifelong politician white billionaire man? And then claim you care about the "working class"...while supporting a billionaire...
@wideofthepost This is honestly hilarious... All the things you claim to hate about "liberals" and "wine moms" and he did them apparently.. Walked in Marches you deride. Donated to candidates you despise. I thought being a Democrat was bad, but now it's good? Very confusing.
@pro_noma@Wilson__Valdez Does the left see it? I know it's weird for them to have one of their candidates actually win a nomination, but it's interesting how they think voting is effective now.. what happened? So they're going to vote for next Democratic Presidential Nominee no matter who it is?
@CentristMadness So the worst thing about Mills is she thinks she wanted to retire? And then the worst thing about Plattner is he has a nazi tattoo and extramarital affairs? Idk, seems like ones less sensational than the other. Which one does she understand and defend, let's see...
@shannonrwatts They love rich old white men. They want them to have all the power. They call it "socialism." Why listen to the Hispanic guy or the Black lady, when you have rich old white men right there, whispering what you want to hear in your ear. Don't need principles to stand on.
I actually think working in an office is a way to keep community together at a time when we're rapidly losing it. Not all jobs require it but, I don't think holing up in our isolated selves is beneficial in the long run for us as individuals and society.
We had a golden opportunity to make remote work the global standard, and we wasted it. Seriously: What happened? Why did so many companies go back to the office?
