@HighwaysEAST@DartCharge Wait, why can't they just arrest/detain him and let people get on with their day? Why close a busy crossing for over 4 hours causing untold misery for thousands of people? Are police just sitting there TWIDDLING THEIR THUMBS OR WHAT? DO YOUR JOBS YOU BUNCH OF USELESS NUMPTIES!
@deepu_speaks There’s no such thing as a fluke slam winner - you cannot win a tennis major by “fluking” multiple matches against the world’s best, let alone without dropping a single set.
@ThePleasance @lornlornlors Absolute shite, which doesn't even work let alone a clever pun. Was it a diversity win or something? As there hadn't been a female winner since 2008? The cheeter/cheater joke has been around for decades - I'm sure I've see it on a Penguin wrapper before it's that bad.
@thetimes Diversity win? Since there hadn't been a woman winner since 2008? That's the only explanation as any of the nine others in the shortlist are a thousand times better and are actual puns. A zookeeper is not an animal so it makes absolutely no sense.
@lornlornlors Plus, the cheetah/cheater joke we've heard since primary school it is that basic. e.g. never play games in the jungle, there are too many cheetahs. That makes more sense than yours and I've heard since I was a child.
@lornlornlors It was a terrible joke let alone the best pun. A good pun is based on clever wordplay - a zookeeper is not an animal so this makes zero sense and the wordplay does not work.
@ValhallaCallz @CPSUK Free Speech? All convictions were made to due to violent disorder, e.g. attacking police officers, and much of it racially aggravated - e.g. hotel attack, stopping people in the streets, chanting offensive slogans. Justice is here, learn to live with it or leave the country.
@JaredLoredo@BRICSinfo He incited an attack which targeted hundreds of innocent people and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. It easily could’ve led to the loss of life. Not just a “post online”.
