“Switching things up will only make my hunt harder and probably less successful.” That’s the point. People including myself are pissed, when others are sniping all the product for themselves only to resell it online for twice the price before it can stay on the shelf longer than a day.
This guy bought Samsung’s 990 Pro 4 TB SSD when it was ~$330 and now Samsung REFUSES to replace it as the SSD now costs ~$950 due to the AI boom.
The SSD came with a 5-year warranty but started malfunctioning after just one year.
He sent Samsung evidence showing the drive was malfunctioning. Samsung rejected his claim, said it was working fine, and mailed it back to him.
When asked for a replacement, Samsung said the SSD was “out of stock” and couldn’t be replaced, offering only a refund of the original ~$330 purchase price.
The problem? The same SSD is currently IN STOCK and selling for around $950, so the refund wouldn’t even buy a replacement.
He’s now taking legal action against Samsung.
At this point, replacing the SSD would’ve probably been cheaper for Samsung than fighting the lawsuit. 😭

🚨BREAKING: UK GOVERNMENT TO TAKE CONTROL OF YOUTUBE ALGORITHM
This is pure authoritarianism
Keir Starmer's/Andy Burnham's Government is set to control the YouTube algorithm by LAW stipulating that they must push "APPROVED CONTENT" to UK Citizens
And independent voices who criticise the government will be pushed to the back of the queue making it harder for people to find
YouTube has acknowledged this is happening
This must be stopped
@Kritoveris@CultureCrave Not to forget that films are a timed release and not in many theaters. They are squeezing profits anyway they can and they know we will keep our subscription another month or so hopeful of another season. They’ve corned the market and have us right where they want us.
Not necessarily. They are doing the classic bait and switch pulling fans in for 1-2 seasons of a show and doing a featured movie from there forward. Mugen had the same quality as season 2 and Infinity castle despite the show having a lower budget. Sony switched their business model and is treating Japan studios and artist very poorly. Sony execs are reaping the most profits from the films too.
@pablosats@Ryan45682237@Xedsens Collecting and being left with a bag are two different things. OP’s emotional conviction in this stack can be his worst enemy when there’s a recession.
🚨NEWS: The National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) has endorsed the Clarity Act, becoming the first major law enforcement organization to publicly support the legislation, which includes the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA).
In a letter to Senate leaders, @noblenatl says the bill “contains several provisions that would provide law enforcement with meaningful new capabilities while preserving longstanding criminal enforcement authorities.”
Responding to concerns raised by other law enforcement groups, NOBLE adds that the legislation “does not alter the longstanding federal criminal authorities that investigators and prosecutors rely upon every day,” including statutes governing money laundering and unlicensed money transmitting businesses.
BREAKING: The news that crashed Circle 16% is now being denied by the companies behind it.
Open Standard said Tuesday it plans to launch Open USD later this year with support from more than 140 companies, including Visa, Mastercard, Google and Coinbase.
It also listed several South Korean companies including Shinhan Financial Group, KB Kookmin Card, K Bank, Samsung Electronics and Dunamu as participants.
Open Standard said businesses can mint and redeem Open USD with no fees or limits, while reserve income will be shared among partners, which directly threatened Circle and Tether who controls 80% of the market.
Circle $CRCL stock dropped 16.5% after the news as investors feared Open USD could disrupt the stablecoin market dominated by USDC and Tether.
Open USD listed 13 South Korean companies among its 140+ partners. However, several told local media they had not formally joined.
A Samsung Electronics official said, "There were no official consultations, and we do not even know what role we would play."
Shinhan, Dunamu, and K Bank reportedly said they only agreed to review Open Standard's proposal, yet were later listed as alliance members.
One company representative said they learned of their inclusion through media reports only.
If these reports are accurate, the market may have erased billions from Circle's valuation on an incomplete narrative.
Nintendo acknowledged Pokémon TCG scalping during its Annual Shareholders Meeting.
The company says The Pokémon Company is addressing the issue with made-to-order sales, marketplace partnerships, and ID verification for select product lotteries... all aimed at getting products into the hands of real fans instead of resellers.

After sitting with the Playstation news for a bit, I came to realize something…
Isn’t what Sony is doing kinda illegal?
They’re essentially creating a monopoly by gutting any market except the ps store.
No competition. No competitive prices. Nothing.
Seems illegal to me.
@pluslunar@PlayStation I haven’t touched my PS5 in 2 years because it broke of causes unknown. I voided the warranty and tried to fix it myself with no luck and have no plans to pursue further action. I now believe that whatever force broke my PS5 did it with good cause and saved me from further pain.
