@pimoroni I'm not seeing a boot order option in my raspi-config. Installed it on ubuntu desktop, am wondering if perhaps the raspberry pi OS version differs?
@MishManners Can't DM you without being certified. Wanted to ask you if you can self approve your own PRs. As a solo developer on my own repo, Github won't let me, Author can't approve PR. Seems to be no solo dev workflow. I raise PRs and then have to merge unapproved. :(
~Case Study: Ketogenic Diet for Bipolar Disorder~
Michael Saraga, MD, PHD published in the journal Bipolar Disorders.
"We contribute to this limited literature with the personal case of the second author, who suffers from type 1 bipolar disorder. She spontaneously initiated KD and experienced significant improvement of her symptoms."
Few people are aware of this case study as it is not open-access. Here is a short summary:
👉 60 y/o nurse
👉 Bipolar 1 with several previous hospitalisations
👉 Began ketogenic diet 2018
💬Psychiatrist:
"The clinical picture has clearly improved, with a decrease in anxiety and the maintenance of euthymia in spite of markedly stressful life events. She is also progressively less sensitive to dietary lapses. She has stopped sertindole."
💬Patient:
"After starting the diet, I felt the leaden weight of depression lifted from me. Since then, I feel more joy, and I accommodate better to my life as it is. It is as if I now have the key to “use“ the “tools“ I gained in psychotherapy, and that helps me better “navigate” the difficulties. So, to summarize: I feel a clear improvement on both depressive and “manic” aspects, I sometimes go through bubbles of acceleration, I may become irritable and sometimes aggressive, but it does not last for long: a few dozen minutes. It is less frequent than it used to be, and most importantly the spiral “mania-depression-guilt” is gone."
