This take falls apart completely, did you forget that Captain America literally returned Mjolnir to the past at the end of the movie. The Avengers entire time travel strategy relied on a strict "borrow and return" policy to prevent timeline collapse.

When Steve Rogers suits up for his final quantum trip, he brings the hammer right alongside the Infinity Stones. He drops Mjolnir exactly back into 2013 Asgard at the precise second it was taken, meaning that past Thor only experienced a weird two-second glitch before his weapon instantly returned to his hand.
