I am now tired of reporting this open drain gutter outside my house. People are finding it difficult to use this intersection safely. The open drain is located at the corner of Dan Judson Road and Goff Morris Avenue in Milton Park, Harare.
It has been left unattended for the past six months. The workers left it open and, despite numerous reports, nothing has been done to fix it.

PLEASE SHARE🙏🏾 | Hi, I need help please. My younger brother has gone missing in town today. He has Down syndrome and is 35 years old, but he looks quite small for his age.
If anyone has seen him in town today, or sees him, please contact +263 77 236 3700. He is not able to speak clearly, so people may have difficulty understanding him.
I have attached a photo of him. He is the one on the extreme right. If possible, please crop the image to show only him and avoid exposing the young girls in the picture, as they are my nieces. I would really appreciate it.
This was earlier today in Harare, and he is still wearing the same clothes. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

🧵 Mutumwa Mawere — The Tycoon ZANU Made and Unmade
1/
In the late 1990s, he embodied Zimbabwe’s new dream. From Bindura to sprawling empires, his rise was meteoric.
But in Zimbabwe, brilliance is always conditional — until ZANU takes it back.
His rise was only the beginning of a certain fall.
@zondo_sikhumba@tafimhaka Tribalistic nonsense keeps Zanu-PF in power. If zimbos don't unite in one unmistakable voice that shouts no to this nonsense you will continue to live in squalor just like the shona you despise then one day you will die of a treatable disease coz zanu destroyed hospitals.
@WorldinGreyArt@roobmsoobs56402 Superman is also an alien. Heroes are heroes because of character , perseverance and most importantly how much fun they are for the viewer. Race? Who gives a toss? I was Jackie chan for a good chunk of my growing up life in the playground, am i asian? Hell no!
@welliekay @CrimeWatchZim It's probably more likely he came home. Mostly because our border officials are easily bribal if you know the right people. He probably would have struggled in the other countries. Again this is just an assumption of what's more probable. He may well be in any of those countries
A family in Bulawayo is appealing for help to raise US$20,000 to save their son, Ibongwe Moyo, who has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. He needs urgent specialised treatment in India.
His family is doing everything they can, but they cannot raise this amount alone. Every dollar, every prayer, and every share can bring Ibongwe closer to the care he needs to live.
If you are able to help, please contact:

Last year, around noon, my daughter’s body arrived from New York to Connecticut. I saw her in the mosque. Even now, I can’t believe she’s gone. Some part of me still waits for a text, a call, the sound of her key in the door — as if any moment she might walk back into the house.
Maybe that hope lingers because I didn’t recognize her body. None of us did — not me, not my son, not even my friends who were there. Look at the pictures below. Ilene took them just a couple of weeks after I dropped her off at Rider University in early September 2023. That was her — bright, alive, full of dreams. So tell me: what happened at that university? What did her so-called “chosen family” do to her that she took her life and became unrecognizable to her own mother?
Why is it that parents who don’t “affirm” are instantly labeled unsafe in this country, while universities — where young people die alone, unnoticed for days — are somehow considered safe? The hypocrisy is staggering.
When I published my article, someone wrote that I had lost my daughter twice. They were right. I lost her once when she cut me off two years ago, and again, a year ago today, when I watched her body being lowered into the ground. Two losses of the same child — both unbearable. That’s what gender ideology does: it tears families apart, isolates children from their parents, and leaves nothing but silence and graves.
This morning, I went to the cemetery office. They were kind enough to install Ilene’s tombstone earlier than scheduled, even though they were fully booked. I wrote the final check, then went to see her grave. I brought her flowers. I spent some quiet time with her. I was the only one there.
Where were all the people who cheered her on to this point — the ones who “affirmed” her, who encouraged her to cut me off, to take hormones, to reject her family? Where were they? All those who said they loved “Raven” — not one of them was at the cemetery. Nobody. Just me.
Later, I checked Rider University’s website. And there it was — today’s event:
“Unspeakable: The Untold Story of the Trans Experience.”
A 45-minute dance performance meant to “inform” the audience about the struggles of transgender individuals, followed by a discussion.
Rider University never disappoints. Even after one of their own — a young student who believed she was trans — died last year, left alone and unnoticed for days, they continue to stage performances about the “trans experience.” I wonder if tonight’s discussion will include the story of the student they forgot. Somehow, I doubt it. Unspeakable… indeed.
