@maggiesaya In the contract it specifies you need to request payment by end of Friday to get paid the following Wed. You requested payout this Monday or a week ago Monday?
@JeredKing@paythetraderr If you scalp it's not that big of a deal but if you want to hold or even just leave a runner it's a big deal and EOD would work better for that so you don't have to babysit it or worry about wasting drawdown.
@JeredKing@paythetraderr Daily max loss does not trail. It's the max loss you can take realized or unrealized. If you go -500 but close at 0 your max loss was -500. If you take another trade and go -500 and close at 0, your max loss is still -500. Drawdown opt 1 would be -500, opt 2 would be 0 EOD.
@paythetraderr@JeredKing Because it trails your highest balance in real time even with unrealized gains. Option 2 is end of day, although they do have a daily max drawdown on these. Still better though.
@JeredKing@paythetraderr Yes but it trails off your EOD balance. Say your position goes +$1k and you close it at +$500. Option 1 you've lost $500 in drawdown despite being $500 in profit. With option 2 your EOD balance is +$500, your drawdown trails but you still have your full drawdown amount.
@JeredKing@paythetraderr Unless you're only scalping they are a better option. Other day I lost $700 in drawdown without taking a loss. You can say I could have cashed out but that's what option 1 forces you to do, take profits prematurely. You have no room to let a runner go & it reduces your R:R.
@paythetraderr@JeredKing These are for op 1. I highly recommend paying a little more for EOD. There are 65% off coupons around on those if you look. Opt 1 are tempting but easy to blow even without losses. My next is going to be EOD as well. Allows for more room to let the trade play out / less stress.
