This is a horrifying picture of the state of Bihar, India.

A father is carrying his child across a swollen river to take him to school so that the child's education is not disrupted, because this situation remains the same for 4 months.

Bihar is the same state from where makhana reaches the whole world.
Litchi, bananas, mushrooms, and all these quality products also come from Bihar.

Mr. Modi also gets 35+ seats out of the 40 Lok Sabha seats from Bihar to become the Prime Minister of India.

But 60% of Bihar remains submerged in floods. Every year, the story is the same. It includes some of the poorest regions of Bihar because the floods destroy everything every year. People have to start again from zero.

India's Prime Minister, Mr. Modi, only gives speeches to the people there and takes their votes. Till today, no permanent solution has been found to keep a state like Bihar safe.
