There are three basic buckets for a psychological framework.
I don't know any world-class performers that don't believe the future is going to work out well.
But optimism is learned—anything learned can be adjusted.
1. Optimism - Not soft. It's at the center of mental toughness. The mental discipline to stay the course when shit is not going right.
2. Locus of control - Are you controlling what's 100% in your control? Working towards that or caught up in the noise of things you can't control?
3. Grit - Passion and perseverance for long-term goals.
Get those three cobbled together on a consistent basis—that's durability on the long play in life.

CHARLIE KIRK: "If the most important thing for you is just FEELING good, you're gonna end up miserable.
But if the most important thing is DOING good, you'll end up purposeful.
Purpose will give you happiness."

The older I get, the more I realize there's a cost of entry to unlock the things you want in life. Freedom is unlocked through focus. Deep relationships are unlocked through hard conversations. Health is unlocked through discipline. Embrace it. Pay the cost of entry with pride.
Underrated cheat code:
Believing you are the outlier, that you can do things others cannot do...
... and then working relentlessly to make it the truth.
A reminder from Atomic Habits by James Clear:
“It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it. If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire. To crave the result but not the process is to guarantee disappointment.”
People will constantly attack you in life.
One of their main weapons will be to instill in you doubts about yourself – your worth, your abilities, your potential.
They will often disguise this as their objective opinion, but invariably it has a political purpose – they want to keep you down.
