I’ve spotted some value in the France v Italy game tonight.

Michael Kayode to have 1+ shots is priced @ 1.83, which looks a great price, especially with Super Sub available too.

He had the dream start to life in the Italian men's team, handed his debut by Mancini on Monday and getting on the scoresheet in a 4-1 away win against Turkiye. He also registered three shots, all hitting the target.

He was playing as more of a wing-back in this one, given the freedom to get forward, which helps explain why all three efforts came from open play.

His shooting numbers for Brentford suggest it wasn’t a one-off either. He’s averaging 1.82 shots per 90 this season, with his last five starts producing 4, 1, 1, 1, 0 shots.

He's also proven to be a useful aerial threat, averaging 0.91 headed shots per 90 for Brentford this season.

I know that France are a different beast to Turkiye though, and you’d expect them to dominate possession. However, they’ve allowed both Turkiye and Belgium 12 shots each in their Nations League games.

Kayode regularly gets into attacking positions for a Brentford side who aren’t known for dominating the ball, so I don't think France controlling possession necessarily rules him out of getting opportunities either.

If you're concerned about him starting, Mancini has spoken about prioritising youth and selected one of Italy's youngest squads in some time. Given how impressive Kayode was on debut, I'd be surprised if he doesn't stick with him.

You can get a bigger price with some bookies, but Super Sub won't be available, which makes it a riskier bet.

If you're feeling ballsy, you could even bump this up to 1+ shot on target @ 3.75, but that's obviously a tougher ask.
